Hi everyone, this is a bit of a weird question but I'm sure it's one that's crossed everyone's mind at some point.
Does anyone know if it's possible to remove the Samsung logo on the bezel of the tab. It's Purley for aesthetic reasons to make it look that little bit neater.
Running your finger over it it doesn't feel like a sticker, perhaps it's painted on? Any ideas? Or has anyone done I already!

Use a exact same background color sticker?

I was thinking a strip of black electrical tape...
It's really not an issue for me. I also have a Verizon logo in the upper right of the bezel. I usually focus on what is on the screen, so I don't usually notice the logos.
dude i found one article on lifehacker, maybe this could help u!

I've seen that some people have found a way to change the soft keys on the Galaxy Nexus from white to blue. Is there anybody out there that can figure out how to do this on the Atrix???
Tapped from my MIUIAtrix!
That would be great...

The navigational keys for the Galaxy Nexus (and future ICS phones) are on the actual screen itself.
All other phones just have cut outs of the keys with a light source behind it.
Sorry, but I never thought I'd have to explain this to anyone.

though i hope it possible, but actually, it's impossible
My bad. Didn't study the nexus that much.

This is in response to you posting the same (exact) question here and in the "Development" forum. For future reference.

Not, not unless you take the entire device apart (same as replacing digitizer) and paint the LED's or the glass back. Motorola just kind of slaps some LED's underneath the buttons... I took it apart, and it looks like they didn't even try to make it look normal (like 4 LEDs). instead its just a bunch of stuff that lights up and bleeds light all over, like on mine, I have light that bleeds up into the screen, and if you hold it a certain way, you can see the light. It's very noticeable (directly seeing the LED)
Yeah I sent a report asking to delete one or even both threads since my question was obviously a no brainer!

It was just an FYI. No hard feelings.

Hey Everyone,
My tablet has a loose lower back panel. It's the gray piece, right in the middle. It's nothing serious, just a little annoying. Does anyone else have this issue? Does anyone have any good tips for fixing this?
Thanks.

Take it back to Sony for repair!
I've returned my 3 times and all of them click in that area, its not really loose..
Its a design or manufacture defect

They used to much plastic, they had to use aluminium. its not a heavy material,
And it looks much more expensive, ( To me xD )
Aluminum equals bad gps and bad wifi

My Samsung tablet has aluminum case, and perfect Wi-Fi connection
Most tablets don't

I haven't met this kind of case
I had same problem and yea it was kind of annoying.
One day i accidentally dropped it.Thank god nothing happened to tablet(i had mini heart attack though). On plus side squeaky noise stopped. So if you put a lot of pressure on grey plastic, maybe it will help?
Maybe we should all drop our tablets

Hey,
I was watching the videos and the hands-on pictures of galaxy s3 and i noticed that there's an ugly gap between the screen and the bezel and its really bothering me, especially on the white version of the phone. Can anyone tell me why is it that way? I tried searching for the answer but couldn't find any so i decided to ask it here.
Thanks for the replies in advance.
I thing every phone has this black gap
not as much as s3
I too noticed the gap and it is much more visible in white sgs3 than blue. lets see what the s3 users say
It's there, but I don't even notice unless I focus on it. The screen is way to good to focus on a small black gap.

I didn't realize it was there until reading this post ;-) Non-issue IMO.
BTW I have the white SGIII.

you know i was deciding to change my mind and wait for pebble blue color bcoz i thought that gap would be an issue. Thanks for clarifying.
Literally didn't notice it until you pointed it out. I have the white and its fine. Probably less noticeable on the blue.

but its so visible lol howcome you didnt notice that 0_o
Have you held a S III in your own hands yet? Videos/photos don't show the real beauty of the phone. Don't be so quick to judge

I noticed the gaps on my first S3, i went for a replacement this morning because of very obvious spots on my display under black background. Suprisingly, the new unit does not have gaps between the bezel and screen. It fits nicely.
I hade this gap too, should i return it ? I have a smaller One side of the bigger that are under the home button
I had this gap on my White S3, its like screen was coming off and i can see small amount of glu coming out of it.
i went back to shop and exchange with new one which is fine no issues now.
I too never noticed the gap until this thread...not an issue IMO (I have a white S3)
Sorry to revive this thread but I also have this under my home button (though not nearly as bad as mani79 had). I just see a small "ridge" between the screen and plastic bezel.
The display model at my local AT&T store has it as well.
in having a look at my white s3, i dont have any issues whatso ever, not even a small amount of lifting or seperation. Must just be luck of the draw
Notice the ridge between the chrome and glass in this stock photo? That's what I'm talking about. That little ridge.
just check, mine looks ok
I have the pebble blue version and a small gap on the bottom - it isnt noticeable though but I will keep an eye on it as I wont be happy if it starts filling up with dust and becomes unsightly.
This phone has a gap similar but slightly worse than mine. Notice the gap on the right and bottom of the screen.
hi guys last night someone steeped on my phone and cracked the screen on my s2 now only the bottom two icons light up but the screens not lighting up, do you think its just the screen and are these hard to replace or is it a job for a shop?? if it is a job for an expert does can anyone recommend anyone please?
did take my tomtom apart once and fixed it but never played round with phones lol
You can do it by yourselft https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=65pvAINg2ME&feature=youtube_gdata_player

Thanks for that might just have a go myself
So I just got my i9505 yesterday, and I noticed there are some faint vertical and horizontal "streaks" on the screen that are most apparent when displaying grey. It's pretty subtle, but it's definitely there. Has anyone else had this problem? Anyone know what it is or if it's normal?
I remember that being a problem on the galaxy nexus which mine had but never saw that issue in the s3... and you would think the s4 screen should be flawless.. I would like to see what others say?
Sent from my SCH-I535 using xda premium
Seeing the same exact thing on mine. It doesn't bother me unless I really think about it, but I feel like it shouldn't be there at all. Maybe I'm just unfamiliar with OLED screens and this is normal.
Anyone else want to chime in?

Same thing on mine. Coming from a note 2. And remember the issue on the nexus. Unless I focus hard enough only on some apps I can see. If it gets worse overtime later down the road I'll warranty. But it's not bad enough. My eyes mainly see it on gray screens.

Me too same issue with my S4 I9500. Firsly My screen have pink tont at the bottom, I have replace 3 screens at Samsung service center, but the 3rd one had Vertical and horizotal Streks on screen and i can see them at Gray and others colors so much.
So sad.
Should i replace the other screen?
