I have bought an Omega OT107 tablet
It seems that there is not much information onthis tablet on the net.
The only thing i know about it, is that it has Rockchip chipset ,(rk29sdk)
I want to get the rom of the tablet onto my PC (ubuntu)
When i reboot th device into the recovery, it boots , but i see an android with a ! mark on it
Then i cannot do anything
I hope someone can help me

Hi guys, after installing chainfire3d and reboot the device it win't start any more, it stop on teclast logo, rockchip flash tool don't recognize the device that in windows is seen as adb device..for some strange reason if i look at the device details it will be recognized as an htc?? I can start in recovery mode (the one with the little android ko with a red "!")
I really don't know what to do now.. someone with a brillant idea and some more experience than me can help in a flash with some other tool? or if exist an emergency flash from sd..

I'm sorry to have bothered you all.
It's strange.. but i changed the usb cable (that works perfect with my phone) and tablet was seen from the rockchip flasher..

Ive been playing around with my mums rk30sdk tablet and managed to fully brick it. It WAS in blue mode (maskrom) but I managed to fix it and now its in green mode. Still nothing on the screen though and unable to flash it or connect via adb
I have the dumps of all partition images but cant adb to it or get into bootloader mode so im a bit stuck. I have an old rkflash tool that allows for flashing of separate partitions but it doesnt recognise the device
Using Windows I do get the 'bing' so I know its alive and rkbatchtool v1.7 gives me a green connection (no switch but can upload firmware)
Ive searched the net for firmware for this device with no luck The guy I got it off is a **** and doesnt even know where it comes from. Im sure I could flash it if i could make a single .img file from my dump .img files but ive had no luck so far
Im thinking my only option may be to build android from the source but thats a massive effort and fraught with problems so Im after an easier way.
It uses an ext3 file system. If I could just get the recovery back it would help but I really need to build a single flashable image from my dumps!
Im not the only one on here with issues with this device so anyone who can help me will be helping other people.

Anyone who can help me will get ALL the info on how I just got a FREE rk3188 10.1" tab (Unfortunatlly I think its a 't' chip but i havent opened it up yet so not sure)! It was free though so pretty cool! I found an idiot seller who can be blackmailed into refunding you and letting you keep the tablet as they list it as a totally different model

I got this Tablet from my company but it has allready pre-installed some OS that doesnt let it work as a normal tablet,but a company software,so i want to clean it up,and install a android software 4.2 JB or something that could make this tablet to work again as a normal tablet,and not with the company software.
In this link,i tried to download it,but didnt manage to run it,cause at some point the computer needs to recognise the tablet in order to run this file "RKBatchTool" from witch there you can tell the device where to look and get the new OS - Root etc,and that is not possible.
I also tried hitting this aswell , but here i couldnt even get to downloading something ( or i am doing something wrong) cause no files are beeing downloaded from there or something like that.
In general i need to find something that can fit in the Prestigio MultiPad 4 Quantum (OS-Root-Firmware) something that will change the pre-installed things that are allready installed.
I tried to google a lot of things,but no hope :/
Some help pls...
Any hope ?

Hi,
Let me start at the begging.. Tablet is 1 month old and was rooted by a friend.. All was good but then me (stupid me) did an update on the tablet. That messed up totally the OS on it. It only boots in recovery mode. I did all the hard reset stuff but with no luck. I can’t get windows to recognize tablet to use SP flash tools. I did install drivers. I downloaded the firmware A7600F_000_016_140627_row.zip. I have placed the file on my root of the SD card but still no luck to get it install on the tablet. I don't know what to do anymore. I know there was a gentleman on this website that had the same problem.. And someone help him to get it fixed.. They don't say how and also no more response from him.. Please Please Please can someone help me to get this tablet fixed.

Has learnpad software on it & I would like to remove this & just use it as a standard android tablet.
Assume it is rooted to run the learnpad software.
Sadly I have not been able to enter recovery mode to reset it. Have tried everything I can think of.
Tablet has no volume up or down buttons
Have tried everything & am running out of ideas.
Somebody must have encountered this issue before.
Any ideas or help would be much appreciated

Hi there,
I just finshed reading the info about the tablet since they are using their own version of android it maybe impossible to get the exact rom however you can unlock the tablet to access restricted features.
And no the tablet is not rooted.

I cannot unlock the tablet as per your link because to do this you need the original owners login details.
I am a second user.
Tablet seems to be really locked down. Cannot even access the recovery mode which is probably what I need to do.
Seems such a waste of good hardware to maybe have to bin this tablet just because basic android cannot be installed on it.

i also have this learn pad . but my problem is the learnpad is stuck on start. this learnpad not have android os . its have Ubuntu OS and it work with 12V battery. my problem is to install a new and fresh Ubuntu OS , but how can i boot this device from usb. if someone know please help me. thanks in advance.
