My problem is that i have rooted my Xperia U with flashtool. I have installed CWM recovery. Then I installed the zip file from the sd card in recovery, everything went fine till i have restarted my phone. It bootloops between the sony and xperia logo.

My question is, what should i do to recover?
My bootloader is locked
flash stock using SEUS first..its the safest way to get out of bootloop
If u r getting your cwm menu then wipe cache n dalvik cache it should help u to get out of bootloop!!
N if not the flashtool u r using is outdated so update or try again. N try again n again it will then flash ur stock ftf

Hey mate,
Sorry to hear about your bad luck with installnig my rom First things first, get the latest Flashtool and then install the drivers for Flashmode and fastboot from the drivers directory Then, get the proper FTF (you are using an FTF which contains Kernel only) and flash it to recover from bootloop.
Incidentally, which settings did you choose resulting in bootloop ? the Galaxy S3 (rosemary) font and Stock Charging animation cause bootloop sometimes so avoid those for now
check this thread
it will help u a lot http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=39677249#post39677249 :victory:
please hit thanx if I helped you

Hi,
Thanx for ur reply,
i tell u what i did before this happened.
I flashed firmware but, in second step was not able to flash cm.72(img),error was displayed. so skipped this step and directly install rom via cwm.
after that this problem happened.
now phone is stuck on sony logo.due to missed second step.
to get it back i again flashed firmware in phone through flashmode.
and same problem is there now phone is not detected to fastboot mode as it is not started.
and i hope if it is connected some, then how i ll face the same error in .img flash.
Remember friend,if u are in to the flashmode the LED is green, and blue for fastboot.....
Repeat it carefuly....
-Flash full firmware via flashmode (LED Green) --> press back button and then connect usb
-Flash custom kernel (.img file) via fastboot (LED Blue) --> press search button and then connect usb
-And the custom rom (.zip file) via CMW
Hope it works and help....
Good luck

Any other ideas ? Its a Sony Ericsson Mini Pro (Sk17i), rooted, bootloader unlocked, CyanogenMod 10 installed.
ok, I just found out that the red led blinking was because the battery was empty, I put my phone battery in, tried turning it on and now a pink led truns on for a sec and the screen turns on but after that it doesn't do anything. I tried flashing it and it keeps saying the same message (see post above)
any help?
Ok Now First Select The Firmware flash settings like everything you do eg. press bolt icon -select ftf-press ok
.
.
.
now only connect ur phone when u r asked nt before
.
Remove the battery 15 minutes and while the battery is not often followed press Power button
poce flastool and all things necessary on the desktop of your PC, antivirus and also disables the test with patience.

pink led means kernel working. like said charge ur phone (simply but in cable it even must be on) for abot 15-30 mins after that try accesing CWM. if no kernel boot, make sure a) u get into fastboot (press vol down while plugging off phone to pc->blue led will lit) --> flash a other kernel any try acess cwm (try install rom if u get int cwm, choose a stable rom, u can transfer files via cwm mount storage option)
b) try get into flashmode (same way but vol down) if work --> power off phone, use the install (stock) .587 fw tutorial on Aneel's and saqibs honami rom (find there link in install desc.) --> use files and tut by sony forum in flashtool, dont connect phone , leave it off. set up flashtool like mentioned a popscrren will pop up then connect via flashmode
hope it works

Flash extended stock kernel..any kernel with CWM not the completely stock one..
I dont see a fastboot mode over there..
Connect USB cable while holding the vol up button..see if the led turns blue and then flash the kernel..
Give me the log of kernel flash..

Place downloaded firmware file(.ftf format) in Flashtool\firmwares(by default C:\Program Files\Flashtool) folder.
Start Flashtool.
Click the lightning button and choose Flashmode.
Firmware should appear there, if you have it in correct folder. Choose it.
Turn off your phone, connect USB cable to computer, then press Volume Down button and connect USB cable to your phone.
Flashtool should detect your phone and starts flashing. Follow the instructions.
turn on your phone when you get flashing is completed

Hi. My D6503 device shuted down suddenly and try to open you see writing up SONY down XPERIA on screen and does not go forward. i did this things:
1) i did hard reset. (volume down+power and volume up+power and push the red button until 3 times vibration)
2)i installed pc companion and used.
3) i used flashtool to flash orginal firmware to device but when it is flushing there is writing "reading device information" and does not go forward.
i think that every thing, every details is right that i did about this 3 solution. but it is not fixed.
i am not sure my device usb debuggin is enabled and is unlocked bootloader. i could not learn that because device does not open.
i have no idea how can fix that. i read a lot of things about that but i could not find. can you help me please? thanks
Please post log in flashtool when your plug in your device to pc

Did you use original cable from sony ?
Or maybe you have a bad cable ..
Or try to flash preroot frimware via twrp recovery then do factory reset

i waited for 1-2 hours after the writing "reading device information" but nothings happen.
i also installed the Emma but when i try to connect Emma (turned of +volume down+usb plug in) i can not connect, nothings happen.
i installed drivers into drivers folder after flashtool was installed and when i attach the device (turn off, volume down) with usb to computer it was defined "SOMC Flash Device" below the device manager.
i used original cable but after your post i tried another cable unfortunately does not work. i searched how can i flash pre rooted firmware , i realized that you have to install twrp. but i can not find how is it install with flashtool. could you help me how can i install twrp with flashtool?

Download latest androplus kernel, unpack the boot.img, then just flash the boot.img though flashtool via fastboot mode, to boot to recovery, turn on your device and when the led turn on, pres volume down and that's your twrp ..

The lastest androplus kernel is v71, but that's okay .. Maybe that's error caused by your computer have two fastboot binary, one in flashtool, and one in other tool (example in minimal adb fastboot tool), if your machine have more than one fastboot, you can't use the fastboot to flash anything
Sent from my D2105 using Tapatalk
i used another pc today and i just installed only flashtool not another program and i installed drivers into flashtool. i did eveything from the beginning and the same result i have. also flushing kernel. i guess usb debugging is disable so i can not do anything.
i can not lock bootloader because of usb debugging is disable. i can not flash the kernel because of bootloader locked.
if usb debugging is disable how can i recover?
