Good ics kernel for Neo v?! - Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo, Pro

I don't wanted to be limited through my looked bootloader so I unlocked my Neo v via test point method.
So I am searching for good kernel suggestions!
Currently I have flashed night elf v 1.4 on jj hybrid 3.2.

motorazrv3, Night elf is my favourite kernel, and i advise you to flash
rom I-Scream 12 from emannxperia. It works great, and you can even OC your neo up to 1.5mhz and it will be stable.

i scream rom has the kernel in the .zip file if i have to flash kernel before flashing rom?

If you have flashed night elf v 1.4, it is the best variant to use with i-scream.
Just flash ROM

Unrar ftf file and you find "kernel.sin" this is stock kernel.
Flash command "fastboot flash boot kernel.sin"

boot problem after first reboot

Hi to all friends,I have a big problem.
I have neo with open boot loader, I had miui v4 Rom and yesterday tried to install optimax2.0 .I didn't like the Rom and I wanted to return to miui again with new install, after finishing aroma installation phone rebooted but it hanged on miui boot screen,I reinstalled again with complete wipe the phone boot normally but after first reboot it hanged again on miui bootscreen, I installed Xperia T v5.5 but it hanged again on first restart,
I don't understand why it hangs on first restart?please help me

try a diff kernel first..if that doesnt work..then
start from scratch..check if this happens with official ICS..if it does, then its prolly kernel related i guess..reflash kernel..

I am not sure because I never used a miui Rom but if I remember correct most or all miui roms are based on cm.
And cm needs special kernels. So flash a proper kernel than the rom and all should be fine.

hi dear friend, the miui Rom was stock based ICS Rom build 587 from Sony, it is not cm based

I usually use night elf v1.5 or 1.4 kernel, they worked with miui fine before this problem,
You mean I flash a stock Rom and then check the problem?
My bootloader is unlocked ,isn't it dangerous?

Ok learned something new.
Till now I only knew from miui roms that come cm based. Thats the reason I never tried one.
For me there is only one good cm Rom and thats the old good cm 7.2

What should happen?
Your bootloader stays unlocked. You will get stock kernel back but you can flash back night elf kernel.
If you flash stock Rom with an ftf file you can exclude the kernel and your currently flashed kernel will stay.

Lemme clear things up..first of all try a diff kernel..if that doesnt solve it..then flash official .587 using flashtool..
no its not dangerous

Just download a stock ROM so that you can have a stock kernel but it will take a lot of time downloading it..

Stock Rom and kernel are not same but as you stated in your problem you have not installed any Rom so you are on stock Rom
You have just flashed the kernel
So you have to just flash the stock ics kernel

Try out these three kernels
Alliance lupus and sauve
It's not difficult to flash kernel
You don't have to flash the rom again
Just flash the kernel via flashtool and then flash the wifi modules
