I think you should root your phone. And then you could flash any rom you want. Nobody know what you want so you must yourself choose the most suitable rom for your phone

Go read in development forum on what you need. There is a post that's called "All you need to know before you begin". Try not to ask questions till you are done reading. You can ask people in private later, no need to spam dev posts like everyone else does.

No. Using fastboot is the only way, which needs pc.

You can use the Search function by yourself and/or look for it in Xperia S section.
And no, it is not possible on our phones because kernels are placed on separate partition that is not accessible via phone's OS.

What ROMS are compatible with Xperia S Locked Bootloader?

Hello guys.
My phone as many has locked the bootloader. I've used the procedures described by Sharaz22 to root it and update it, and also I installed MIUI(which I like a lot)
My question is if you know of any other ROMS I can play with for my LOCKED bootloader?
Thank You and Best Regards!!!

You must downgrade to this stock 6.1.A.0.452 with flashtool and then use this; http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1886460

[NEO V] Roms not working

Hi all,
Recently i encountered a problem. I was rooting my friend's neo v and tried to push custom rom. Everything worked fine, but i triend several roms and all ended in stuck at bootloader. I don't know what to do with that. Has anybody encountered this? Any suggestions?
It may be because of many reasons..
One being that you may not have done a full wipe in recovery mode..
And the other being that your phone must be with a locked bootloader and the ROMS you've tried must have required custom kernel, therefore unlocking the bootloader!

wiping may help, i haven't tried this... I unlocked bootloader using officiaj SE tool.
While changing roms in HTC Buzz i was not making full wipe and everything worked so i forgot to do this now, i will try this on monday.
Any other possible reasons?
