Multiple Message Sender - Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo, Pro

I'm using Team Xperia/SE.TWEAKED on my NeoV 4.0.2.A.0.62 and Night Elf Kernel with ICS dialer on GB.
Recently I started facing strange problem with my messages:
For some contacts, when I receive a message , instead of their name appearing in the sender's field ,I get multiple numbers separated by semi-colon. For eg - ABC with phone number +12345 sends me a sms, instead of "ABC" in senders list, I get "+6789;+12345". That is - I see 2 numbers with comma separated and both numbers are in my contacts list. Now when I reply to ABC for that message, my sms goes to both that numbers.
Strange problem.. Plz Help...:crying:

So no reply after 100 views :crying:
I used CWM and factory reset, wipe dalvik cache. Now the sms app is working fine
Can be closed.

[Q] SMS Conversation show number instant of contact ?

Do you have an idea why some of my SMS conversation show the number instant of the contact ?
I even tried to create a NEW conversation using the contact, as soon as the SMS is sent, the contact is gone and I only see the number.
Both the working and the non-working have the same number format xxx-xxx-xxx
Thanks!
Just an update.
When I receive a new SMS from the non-working user, the notification bar show his name, but in the SMS, it still only show the number.
Tried to update contact to x-xxx-xxx-xxxx or (xxx) xxx-xxxx or x (xxx) xxx-xxxx ... still not working...
I tried to erase the contact and re-create it from the "Create contact" option with-in the SMS... samething !

[Q] Multiple sender numbers on a received sms

Hi! I'm using MiniCM7 Pro v21 on X10 mini pro (U20i) with stock kernel. I've the following problem with messages:
For some contacts, when I receive a message from someone, instead of his name appearing in the sender's field (in the messaging app), his number plus another un-related number separated by semi-colon appears.
For eg, if ABC with phone number +123456789000 sends me a sms, instead of sender's field saying "ABC" it shows "+122421323213;+123456789000". That is 2 numbers. Now when I need to reply to ABC for that message, my sms goes to both that numbers.
This happens for any messaging app, I guess. (Seen the issue in stock messaging app & GO SMS Pro)
Also I'd the same problem when I had MiniCM7 Pro v20 ROM few months back. Is it the problem of the ROM or CM7? It gets really annoying to receive messages from a pair of numbers.

SMS recipient field...

Hi everybody!
I updated my SGS2 with official ICS for my product code... Some time later I noticed unusual "feature". I'll try to explain...
Before, still on Gingerbread, when I go to SMS application (official) and when I enter recipient number manually (not from contact list), name of contact will be displayed instead number as soon as I tap on "message text" field (of course, if I have that person in Contacts list).
Now, on ICS, it is not in such way. When I tap on "message text" field, the "recipient number" field will not show name instead number I entered. Later, when I open "messaging" application, I can't see names, but recipient numbers instead in thread list. If I open "messaging" application one or two hours later, I can see names of recipients in thread list.
I tried to flash my phone again using Odin (first flash to ICS was made using KIES). I tried to wipe data and cache partition. I'm sure that I stored contact number only once in Contacts application (I know that similar problems can occur if I have same number stored more then once under different names).
Nothing above not helped. I please for help!
Best regards and thanks in advance!

Strange SMS Problem... Random Characters...

Hello All,
I have been experiencing a strange problem for a long time and now I'd finally like to eliminate it.
When I first got my DS5 (bought directly from Dell at announcement!), I moved my contacts database over from a couple WinMobile2003 phones (HTC TyTN I & II). The conversion went smoothly except for the strange occurrence of extraneous characters - in particular commas! I've combed the contacts database on the DS5 and removed and corrected any and all problem entries.
After all this the native Froyo 2.2.2 ('351) SMS application sometimes shows commas in a thread for a particular contact, for example, if the messages for contact entry "John Doe" with number "+1-800-555-1212' is being viewed, the SMS app shows "John Doe <,18005551212>"! If I attempt to just reply from within the thread, I will get an error indicating there was a problem with the number (due to the",")! So, if I want to reply to a "corrupted entry", I have to use the phone app's contacts feature to send a SMS and strangely when my message is sent, it automatically opens the SMS app with the correct name and number without the extraneous comma... If I then exit the thread to top-level listing of all messages, then re-enter the previously correct thread - the comma is now shown! It seems whatever database the SMS program uses is screwed up. By the way, I have even deleted a corrupted thread and when a new message is sent or received, the comma comes back!
Before I attempt a complete reinstall of everything and a re-sync with my Gmail contacts. (along with backed-up SMS, MMS & Call Log using the Market App "Backup to Gmail") , I was wondering if anyone else had experienced the same problem and corrected it?
Thanks, in advance, for your all's help...

So the actual problem is "," . When you are sending SMS to two contacts, then your format should be like :
+XXX XXX XXX,+XXX XXX XXX [Notice the "," between the numbers]
For sending to a single contact :
+XXX XXX XXX ie. You don't need any "," , while sending SMS to a single contact .
Hope this solves your problem .
I can't delete the "," that's the problem. Its just there. Its not in my contact profile, it's in the sms application. Please see added picture.
If I compose the text and push send it says Invalid recipients entered
If I go to new message-> add recipient and find the same contact from my phone book then I can send the SMS eventually but that pretty annoiyng.

L
Anyone?!
Have you tried to Note number down and remake contact.
