Hello I was thinking about flashing some new status bar icons using Rom ToolBox Pro and was wondering what percentage our stock battery icon decreases at? 1% 10% 20% ect...
And has anyone ran into any problems using Rom ToolBox on the RAZR Maxx on ICS / .215?
Also is there any other good apps / programs to mod out theme?

I use the Battery Circle app from play on my Stock ICS XT910, it shows the battery life in increments of 1 and also has a summary of how long the battery has lasted.

the battery life isn't the best Abe can't go a day with moderate use
Does anyone know any tips on preserving battery life?
If this is a problem I'll have to trade this for the nexus but don't want to do that because I love this device.

1. Download something like JuiceDefender, you'll see it will make your battery to last something more.
2. Use SetCPU and set profiles for screen off with CPU at lowest speed possible.
3. Avoid using live wallpapers, they're battery eaters
4. Try to disable the pocket detection as it will make your proximity sensor to be always powered on.
would it benefit my battery if I was rooted?

Proximity sensor will only be powered on when the light falls below a set level and phone is at approx. 80-100 deg

it could if you put that to good use like uninstalling some possible bloat.
The real battery savers is with custom ROMs, but you'll have to wait until it's able to be fully rooted so you can flash ROM's.
Does anybody know of a good, but free, battery management app that has either no ads or few ads? Preferably it also shows the current battery level in the notification bar. Thanks!

The best application in this situation (in my opinion), would be the Juice Defender.
automateit pro & juice defender beta combined, best combo ever

This is the Droid xt910 I am on wifi 90% of the time.
I am on stock rooted ICS. No mods other than the power saving settings that turn things off when my battery is low. This phone by far has gotten me the best battery life with my hardcore useage

I was quite happy with my xt910 but then i upgraded the battery to the maxx one and installed miui. Much better now!
Wooow! This is a really good battery stat!

I can usually go all day with moderate usage (games/reading on bus, checking internet, etc.) without too much worry about battery life. I heavily rely on Juice Defender and usually turning off wifi unless I need it. I probably should clock it. I'll have to do it once I settle into my new ROM.
very nice

Has anyone else experienced increased battery drain with Google Now enabled? It seems to make sense that it would since it updates and tracks location in the background. I was just wondering what others have experienced.

I have had Google Now enabled for maybe 3-4 days now, haven't noticed any drastic effects on battery life.
It definitely drains my battery.

I've been using a JB ROM with Google Now since August or so and haven't noticed SIGNIFICANT battery drain.

Do you guys have any significant proof?
I have Battery Stats Plus installed and it still says my screen is my biggest problem Download some battery apps and get some data and share it if you can.

As noted in title. No WiFi here folks. No plugging in go bump up the numbers.
Google Now is not enabled and data/background sync off when screen is off.
All 4g when the phone isn't dropping data when at home although it is considerably better with JB.

What was the screen on time?
The one time I didn't check!

LOL, but overall you're battery life has been much improved?
From my experience with a XT910 loaded with XT912 JB kernel+rom, battery life is at least %40 better and it doesn't have battery drain issues. I can surf the web over 3g without fear
I think JB brought us back to GB battery consumption. With ICS it seemed to drop some. Have not experimented with leaving data on all of the time though.
Sent from my DROID RAZR using xda premium
I guess jb will be nice on battery just waiting for root
