Screen flicker display issues on GTP7500 3G after ICS update - Galaxy Tab 10.1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting
Hi there, wondering if anyone can help me out with an interesting problem!
Installed the new stock ROM on my UK GT-P7500, ICS installed fine, rooted it, etc, yet there is now one weird issue.
Whenever the tablet times out and goes back to the lock screen (it goes black to save power), pressing the power button should show the lock screen and where to enter password, etc.
It does actually show this screen, it's just all fuzzy, like it's a problem with the display driver. You can actually press the screen and see behind the 'interference' that it is taking input, it's just the screen display that is not showing correctly.
If I reset the tablet and start up again it's fine until the lock screen timeout happens and back to square one!
Would much appreciate anyone's assistance on this.

As an update, I tried removing the security so that the tablet has no lock code, etc.
It seems that it is the act of pressing the power button (that puts it into standby), then back again to resume, that results in the unreadable display.
Perhaps it's just a driver setting somewhere?
reflash the rom
but this time do not use previous bootloader.md5 after flash the rom
maybe you did that because flikering recovery mode?!

I am new to xda developers forum. Please help me with the same problem about the flickering screen.
I have been searching for days and using advice like the one from persoot but with no avail.
Please direct me to a place that can help me with this same problem.
My tab is a p7500 wifi/3g and running ics and its rooted.

Hey guys i solve my problem today i desided to solve it anyway and now i am free from this **** ....
i just go to http://droidbasement.com/galaxy/roms/cm10/p4/ and download
bootloader.tar.md5
latest recovery.tar.md5
cm-10-20121112-EXPERIMENTAL-p4.zip
but before start anything first i format my tab memory then restart in download mode install bootloader.tar.md5 and recovery.tar.md5 ... volla ... reboot in recovery mode volla thats it all is now working perfect .... then i install cm-10-20121112-EXPERIMENTAL-p4.zip now my tab is free on madness ...
must try but first fully clean your tab ...

Can anyone else confirm that this method works? My completely stock wifi only 10.1 is getting the flickers. Seems like it started after the update to ics.

Before you create a new topic try te search button, i already made several topics about that, if you incur a rolling screen, that means that you are on the UK bootloader on a ROM that needs the US bootloader, so flash the bootloader 4_0_4 zip using odin, and then the recovery, you will be good to go if you flashed the US bootloader
Galaxy TAB 10.1 P7500 Flickering in CWM Recovery or Screen Timeout
BIG THANKS to ultra spikey!! After some extensive search and all failures I tried his Bootloader and Recovery and it FINALLY works. No flickering in CWM 6.0.1.5. I have completely cleaned my Galaxy Tab 10.1 P7500 Wifi/3G 16 GB.

root issue with samsung galaxy ace 5830i my samsung galaxy ace got stuck on booting stage and its not getting on anyway it just showing samsung then auto restart again and again ,... i already flash with odin3.7 but still the issue is same i tried to install new rom but when i open cwm and choose root.zip its showing me log_e_flie can't mount and restart with same i'm not able to install custom rom's also it also showing log_file can't mount form i'm new on this site i don't know how to fix it plz help me asap thanks

Click to collapse For s5830i /5839i device use my instruction @ post#4 according to your correct PDA/CSC/MODEM and Country/ Region /Carrier ; follow the procedure from the line "-1. Download one of the newest non wipe....till you reach the end of the post" I am assuming you have an access to download mode and not hard - bricked your device . Report your progress,,,,,,

Recovery / Download modes Hi, My father have some trouble with his S. Ace GT-S5830i and asked me to help him. He couldn't open the apps manager anymore so I tried a Factory rest like 4 times but the problem wasn't solved. I thought of flashing the officiel ROM but I ran into some problems. I manage to root the device with Kingoroot because I couldn't do it manually from the recovery mode. When I press the keys (power+home+vol+) I get the recovery menu but it's not working. When I choose anything from the menu (reboot, update from sd card, wipe ...) I get nothing just a triangle with (!) in it. I can't reboot the phone unless I remove the battery. Then I tried Odin to flash the ROM but it didn't recognize the phone. When I do the vol (+) + vol (-) + Power I get in the Factory mode (and not the download mode)

Click to collapse Hi, ClockworkMod Recovery is not made every year. ClockworkMod Recovery 5.0.2.8, was made to be higher than the default from firmware. There is also a ClockworkMod 6, that I do not recommend it because you can brick your phone.

Cant Upgrade or cant Go into recovery mode
Hi. I have a weird issue. I have a D855 phone which is running on kitkat v10n. I thought of Upgrading it to official 5.0 or 6.0 firmware and decided to check for the option software update in my phone. But I didn't find any. So i thought of installing TWRP recovery to my phone. and I flashed through flashify and cant boot into recovery menu but i can see fastboot menu started and some other 2,3 lines at the top left corner of the phone. I cant even reset the phone also as doing that going into same fastboot menu but when i pull the battery and place it it is booting. The real thing starts from here. I want to check whats wrong with my phone and found that actually my phone motherboard is LS990.Not D855. So I came to know that as i wrong flashed the recovery, I am getting fastboot mode. So can I flash tot file directly now or not? if doing so will it result in hard/soft brick or in boot loop? Please help me to upgrade from kitkat to lollipop without any damage to my phone. Anyone hre help me.

Hi there guys, For a long time i`ve used xda (and google ) for flashing, customizing and unbricking phones, starting with HTC TYTN, HD2, etc. Never wrote threads beacuse all guides were ok (if u have a small amount of grey matter). After a few hours of testing and searching the web, this time i have not succeeded in reviving a G925F. Small history - do not know how it happend, but it has "dm-verify verification failed...Need to check DRK first..." error. Flashed 6.0 Marshmallow an it went ok, but after restart goes to Samsung logo and then recovery mode with this error. I tried with odin to flash Philiz recovery or engineering bootloader but it returns error - "Nand write failed - Complete(write) operation failed." I tried with Smart Switch but it does not find my S/N in server database. I`m out of ideeas, and you`re my only hope (Obi-Wan ) Download mode top-left corner : Product name : SM-G925F Curent binary : Samsung Official System Status - Custom Reactivation Lock : OFF Secure Donwload : Enabled As a fan of this community, i pray i`ll find my answers here, or someone willing to help me! I`m even available for a english/romanian skype talk for this issue.
i am facing a similar problem with an samsung s6 edge sm-g925p, was upgraded to 6.0 and used cfautoroot and got bricked, i've solve this problem with an custom kernel and now i am able to use as tablet because it lost baseband and imei, i got repair meid and esn with DFS tool but the "IMEI CERTI FAIL. -3" still there and i can get phone working again, so i need to find phone cert, because if it flash some official rom with stock kernel phone get stuck in samsung logo so i have to flash custom kernel to get started

It doesn't really matter wether you have a custom recovery or not just flash Kernel_G925F_Sforum.tar from http://yun.baidu.com/wap/link?uk=1513099809&shareid=2636139728&third=1 and flash through odin. [Q] Bootloop, can't access Recovery Mode (only Download)
Hi guys! The i9300 of a friend went into a bootloop without any tempering or tingeling just out of the blue. It is on stock 4.3 (I9300XXUGNG3). When we try to enter recovery mode the mobile enters download mode directly (ready for USB connection and flash, like after pressing Vol-+ in download mode). We tried flashing I9300XXUGNG3 and I9300XXUGNA5 via Odin. No matter if one file FW or 3-part Odin always wants the PIT file for mapping. Which we have (and yes, it is the correct PIT) - but Odin says the PIT doesn't match the partition table. Anybody got an idea how to flash stock? Or how we could enter recovery mode? Thanks in advance for any help!

Hello i need help. I bought a used phone.g But it came whith many problems first i dont know teu older gmail acc to complete recovery. I teu to instal a cynogem rom but after i complet the instal from as Manu stuff happens first My phone boot but no acess to recovery mod i press vol down plus power botton nothing I got fast bot. The phone when it starts it shows o+1 logo and the words android in the bottom Please anybody can help me solve this i am thinking in flash true fastbot but i dont got the bat file
Fastboot work not hardbricked. You can use oneplus x guides for unlock bootloader and custom recovery. Phone sounds OK.
