Hi All,
I searched for info on this and found a few old threads but the last replies were in August, and the threads only addressed half the issue, so I thought I would post a new thread.
The Problem: AOSP roms can connect to the wiimote no problem but they do not support MHL out. Samsung based roms support MHL out but cannot connect to a wiimote.
I would love to be able to use my sgs2 as a portable emulator setup
Is anyone working on any kind of solultion to this?
Will AOSP roms be able to output to hdmi at some point or is there a licensing issue i dont know about?
Does anyone know a workaround to get the wiimote to connect to a stock rom (by replacing the bluetooth stack or something)?
Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Was also wondering this same thing. I have also tried to find out if ICS will be pushed out to our phone anythime soon as this is rumored to fix this also.

The simple solution is ditch the wiimote and use a PS3 controller instead as https://market.android.com/details?id=com.dancingpixelstudios.sixaxiscontroller works on stock Samsung ROMs.

I have a Chinese made MTK6592 phone and having problem with bluetooth pairing. When BT device has a preset pairing code of 0000, it will auto connect. However I have 2 i-Tech BT headsets that have a preset pairing code of 8888. The phone simply tells me the code is incorrect and no input window poping out.
Can anyone help me out?? thanks alot!!

Yes, my device is running 4.2.2, thanks!
Hello ttsugar, I've read your post about the pairing issue, I've got the same too.
I've experienced this troubles with two new phones, both with MTK6592 - octacore -, when tried to connect to my car audio device: the phones are the Cubot X6, and the Star N9800; my car DVD combo player is from EONON brand.
With my old phones all worked at the top, as regards all the bluetooth functions. Still with my iNew V3 the pairing works like a delight, and all the bluetooth functions were good at all.
I surfed the internet to find a solution, tried some patches, but nothing to do with the new octacore, the song remains the same : "..,invalid passkey..." . no way to introduce the pairing code.
I don't think that the problem is the 4.2.2 android version, becouse my iNew V3 has got this version too, and works perfectly...
I really think that the problem stands in the different hardware of the bluetooth chipset included in the new MTK6592 ( they speak about 4.0 ), so the protocol doesn't communicate well with the old devices.
Hope to find a solution asap, I need the same too !
Has anyone reached out to eonon about this issue? I just purchased the cubot x6 and having the exact same problem. anyway If I find something i will let everyone know. So far I requested if any updates or patches for the head unit and if not would it be possible to change the pin number on the head unit.

Guys,
I need some help with troubleshootinh my huaweui. The bluetooth has problems with connecting to my Ford Bluetooth. When trying to reconnect, most of the time that doesnt work and i need to repair the phone and the car bluetooth module again. I think the Ford bluetooth is causing the problems but after 2 years Ford still cannot solve that problem.
Also, which tuturial should i use the update my Huawei to the latest stable Android version(dont know which one). Maybe that might solve the bluetooth problem.
Thanks for the help.
Anyone whith some advice?
Thanks
