I have the LG Optimus Q "lg55c" from Straight Talk. My phone is rooted, and I activated a Factory Reset Via Settings > Privacy. The phone shut down, and upon reboot, it gets stuck on the LG screen... I've tried the Down + Home + Power key, and I can't even get into recovery mode... What do I do?

Alright heres the deal. Have an Optimus V by VM. I rooted it using gingerbreak 1.2. Installed clockworkmod 3.0.2 i believe. Was trying to install CM7 mod but right about now I'll take anything that works. Lol. After I power up my phone LG logo shows, disappears, and then my optimus V gets stuck at a black screen. I am going out of town this weekened and would really love to have it fixed by then. I hope someone is kind and patient enough to help me out.
enter recovery mode and i hope u have back-up of your rom reinstall the back-up ...also try hard reseting the phone
unless i am trying the wrong buttons. i cant get it to get into recovery mod. Doesnt seem any combinations are working.

So now.. everytime i power on the phone it goes to lg screen then the android system recovery and says rebooting after its done.. and now it just sticks in the lg logo screen.. Is there anything i can do or is it done for?? and if there is somthing i can do then what do i need to do
You're probably okay. Which recovery do you have?

You've got to make Google your best friend.
Check this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=883314
lol duh its gonna sit at the LG logo and not do anything... there is no install of android on the system
Simply download any number of roms and flash within recovery.
Turn the phone off... the boot up with vol down + home + power to boot into recovery and flash away.
Did you make a backup within recovery of the stock rom first?
i can't get to the recovery
you *are* holding those three buttons down at the same time right? From power on until recovery shows up.

howd you go to download mode and recovery
hi.
i used this to make restore
A master reset (factory reset) restores the original factory settings and erases all user data (including settings and downloaded content) stored in the phone's internal memory. It does not erase data stored on the SIM card or memory card (if available).
Note: If the handset is locked, frozen, or unresponsive, you can perform a master reset using the hardware keys instead of the menu.
To perform a master reset using hardware keys, follow these steps:
Back up all necessary data. See: Preparing for a master reset on Android.
Turn off the phone.
Note: If the phone is unresponsive and does not turn off, remove the battery and then re-insert it.
Simultaneously press and hold the Qwerty F and Qwerty A keys.
While continuing to hold the Qwerty F and Qwerty A keys, add the Volume Down key.
While holding the Qwerty F, Qwerty A and Volume Down key, press the Power/Lock key.
After you see the LG logo wait at least 10 seconds, then release all of the keys.
The Android Unpacking screen will appear, indicating the master reset is in progress.
The phone will automatically restart and complete the factory reset.
I have an unlocked Acer Liquid Metal. I rooted it when I got it near the start of last year (2012). It has been fine since. Today I was typed out a message that I was going to send and as soon as I clicked the send button, the phone went off and restarted and has been stuck in a bootloop since. (stuck on android logo). Anyone else had same or similar problem? how can I fix this?

You should be able to get your phone out of the bootloop by booting into recovery mode and wiping the cache. After wiping the cache select the reboot option and your phone should then reboot and startup normally.

Tried to get into Recovery mode using the following key combo's (with SD Card and without):
hold vol+,vol- and focus (half pressed camera button) while turning on.
This seems to be loading recovery but as soon as the progress bar comes up it stops with a Triangle (Exclamation mark inside it) and a little android underneath that.
? any clues how I get past this?
Managed to get into Recovery using the following key combo:
Volume Up + Focus + Power On, release and press focus again after vibrate
Had ClockworkMod Recovery v4 installed. Cleared the Cache Partition > Rebooted > and still the same - got stuck on the Android boot screen.
Any thing else I can try?

Try rebooting into recovery again and wiping the data and the cache.

if you boot with power button + vol up + home button, enter the recovery menu?
if yes
Download one rom in your sd card and flash it

Hypothetical question: say that I erased every single piece of data on the phone drivers system files operating system etc.. How would I put all the drivers and need information back onto the phone with access to only the SW upgrading mode?
