Lumia 710, Where is the battery level info saved? - Nokia Lumia 800

I have a lumia, and the screen wont come on. The battery is charged, but the phone does not seem to see it. I can get into the flash mode, and flash a rom and everything. But I cannot seem to get the screen to turn on at all or a charging icon to come on. Does anyone have more info as to what partition that info is save on?

Same thing is with me pls help us out to get rid of this problem ....
WBR.
Come on guys
Someone must know how to sort this out??
can it be fixed?
its in warrenty, but not sure if they would be able to tell what i have done
Have you tried just flashing the ROM again?
Can you still enter the bootloader ?
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Athena_Resets
Cant see the phone
hi, i cant re-rflash as when i connect to the pc, it does not see it,
thinking the only way im going to get this sorted out is to return it to t-mobile, just hope it would still be under warrenty, anyway i could cover it,
maybe a magnet stuck to it for a few days might help when they check it over??
thanks
just tried hard reset and bootloader reset again, with batter in, charger in, just charger ect
still no rwesponse
just red ring of dead around joystick, when using charger only
Try this, exactly:
- disconnect any cable;
- remove the battery;
- the SIM;
- wait 10 seconds;
- put the battery back;
- enter bootloader (camera button - pressed down all the way - with comm. manager + reset).
If you don't get the bootloader screen (with various color stripes on the screen), then yes, your Athena's unfortunately bricked.
Nooooooooooooooo
nothing at all mate,
but i guess the battery could be flat,
is there no way to get it to power up,
do you think i could send it away under warrenty?

Anyone near you that can lend you a fully charged battery? Alternatively buy a cheap spare battery.
@onkyojonny
Where are you located?
im near ashford in east sussex, and work in london, if someone can sort it out im happy to make a donation ;-)
thanks
Concerning the return, if you're not able to enter even bootloader mode, all that will be left is to return it, but it's indeed true that if they see your SPL's modified, for instance, they might send it back to you with a "sorry" note. :-S
is there noone on this forum that can sort it out??
rather that than send it back,
Bootloader's the absolute minimum that you need to recover from apparent bricking. If you don't, then I don't know of any "software" mean to rescue your Athena, alas.

Hi
I just had this happen to me, but for completely different reasons. I left my Athena on charge for an hour when the battery was at 10%. It then showed 60%. I then wanted to check that my spare battery had some charge, so I swapped battery and got into exactly the same situation that you have, red light on charger and nothing on either battery.
After reading this forum I tried procedure of taking everything out inc. SIM and leaving it for a minute, still no joy on the 1st battery. Left it again for a minute and tried the 2nd battery and it came to life instantly and booted. The 2nd battery reports 100% charge.
I would suggest that you buy / borrow a battery and try it. It is highly frustrating that you can't use the Athena mains only & swap batteries, but you can't, I tried. If you order a battery (I got one for £11, it is a Cameron Sino which have a bad reputation but it lasts all day, can't argue with that) you should get it tomorrow in the post.
I will see if now that it is working the OEM battery works. It may be that it has not charged properly.
Hope you get it working again.

Follow up, yes it worked when I put the OEM battery back in, still with the SIM out. I have now put the SIM back in and the 2nd battery & all OK. Very unscientifically I would say that taking everything out & using a fresh battery seems to have fixed mine.
yes, one of my (aftermarket) batteries produced the same symptoms just yesterday. it was in a near fully discharged state (< 5%)... so i wanted to put it in the athena and charge it. but athena would not turn on, just the red light. charging did not make a difference.
put the other battery back that was in it previously, it booted instantly, then i put the discharged one in and it still booted and then i was able to charge it up.
note: at other cases i can still boot the athena with such a discharged battery, they have enough juice in them, apparently the problem was something else.
...though i have a desktop charger for the thing.. just didn't feel like trying to dig it up. anyway here is a cheap battery AND desktop charger: http://cgi.ebay.com/Battery-Charger...hZ010QQcategoryZ20350QQtcZphotoQQcmdZViewItem
the charger should charge your battery up without having to buy a new battery (except the seller gives you one as a bonus) and hope it has enough charge in it. might help someone hopefully

Not a rip off on postage either - bargain, so just ordered one as a spare.
Thanks for the heads up.

Was the battery indicator low when it was updating?
Edit: Also does the led turn on when you charge the device?
If the phone died during the update process because the battery indicator was low, then I would say your phone is bricked. This is to my knowledge.
Your best bet is to return because your still under the 30 day warranty. So exchange your phone! All hope is not lost.

It died the other night, and it's not the battery Im sure of it. I cant get it into and Recovery modes or Download mode, well I haven't tried Download mode I don't know how to.
If anyone can help me fix this with all the links necessary to fix it I would be so happy. I am very sad right now .
Thanks
So you can power up and boot into recovery? I assume clockworkmod? If you use just the power button to turn it on what do you get?

I get nothing. Like the phone is completely dead.
could be hardware failure... You can try this..
Pull the battery out then reinstall (do not try to turn on)
plug in the phone overnight
then in the morning, try to turn on while still plugged in and see if it starts.
If not, you may have to bring it to verizon
That is a good idea, when you plug it in does it appear to take a charge?
yea pull the battery for a t least a minute. pop it back in, and plug it into a known working charger. wait a few minutes, when the battery is VERY dead, the charge light won't even come on. after about one minute, it'll start blinking. after it is done blinking and turns solid orange, you may boot the phone.
if you do not get a blinking or solid orange LED after 5 minutes, you indeed have a dead phone. I would go to verizon and try to pass it off as a bad battery, and ask if they can get a working battery to test. if it still fails to boot, then you will know.
i have yet to find a verizon tech willing to dig deeper on a non booting or boot looping phone to see if it was modded, usually playing dumb makes you seem less suspicious and incapable of modding. going in and saying "it was fine and running fast on a custom rom/kernel" is a dead giveaway for a warranty denial!

Red LED flashing 3 times?
Your battery is empty.
yes, flash 3 times, but if i connect the charger the LED still flashing RED, it´s normal?
EDIT: after 1 minute the LED stop flashing
EDIT 2: I can put in flashboot (green led) and fastboot (blue led) mode, but after 2/3 minutes my phone auto disconnect...
The charger not charging the phone, i will try one different charger, when you remove the battery ang put in directly on the charger...
If somebody have anyone ideia, i´m gratefully...
Sorry about the questions, i´m totally lost...
so sorry to hear about your problem.
i have an older sony ericsson phone.
red blinking light is not a good sign.
not charging when plugged in.
tried charging the battery itself, still did not work.
could be bricked already, try taking it to service center.
Before taking an expensive visit to the service...
Get Sony Mobile Update Service(link in my signature), install it and try Repair option on your phone, it will require to place your phone in flashmode(green LED).
What happened actually before turning off? Did the phone turn itself off or you did?
Hi,I think its just the battery broken.The phone did work since the battery was disscharged,its the battery for 99% sure.Dont buy new one,maybe some of your friends have same kind battery,or go to phone service and tell you want to check if its going to work,so they dont charge you nothing and you will see if its work.Hope I help you mate.

1st - Batteries don't break down like this.
2nd - Phone's LED works, so battery still has power inside.
3rd - I have discharged my phone's battery completely quite a lot of times, still works just great(never calibrated and will never do).

Amaze completely dead

The battery in my Amaze 4G had gone bad. After full charge it would barely last a half hour, and took forever to charge. So I bought a new battery, and put it in the phone. It powered on to the T-mobile 4G screen, and then turned off. My problem now is, the phone won't power up, and when I plug it in the charger, I get nothing, no LED charging light, nothing. It won't even power on. It's completely dead. Even when I put the old battery in, I get the same result, nothing, where as, everything worked before I put in this new battery. I really need help on this, and I hope someone can help me out on this. Thanks.

-> remove the battery for 30 mins.
-> and after 30 mins charge the phone without battery for 1 hour.
And after that push your battery back and try to go in recovery by those keys.
