MESA has autoroot so it should have been rooted. Next time, flash kernel, then flash rom straight after.

[Q] Install a recovery without changing kernel ?

Hello,
I just rooted my phone and so I installed rom manager and wanted to install the recovery tools... But the package is not signed and the "Android recovery" won't let me install it.
Can I install it via ADB or I don't know what ?
Best regards,

1). You can't run CM on stock firmware kernel.
2). You didn't specify what version of stock firmware kernel do you need.

The easiest way is to flash stock 5.1.1 with flashtool or restore tablet with pc-companion which will do basically the same.
P.S: Though, if you still need kernel, here it is.

If so, just use Flashtool (i recommend 0.9.18.6) to flash stock 5.1.1 firmware.

So how can we backup stock kernel? I want to know too.
Flashify can do that.
TWRP has option to backup boot partition, but haven't used that, so can't tell if this backup contains kernel, maybe somebody can tell this.
