Need help: Quick search crash!

Hi all,
I've rooted my Optimus One, JIT enable and overclock up to 768MHz... everything goes weel and I'm very happy but when I'm trying to search something using the quick search (search hardware button from home screen!)... it crash!
Probably I found the problem: if I select in the search criteria tha "Application" checkbox it crash, if I don't check the application it works.
I use root explorer to delete some standard apps I don't use... can be that the problem?
Any idea?
Is it possible to uninstall and install again the quick search, repair or reinstall it?
Many thanks!

[Q] Can't install some apps.

Well, as a title says I'm unable to install some apps (games / apps / tools). I press on .apk file, it shows permissions and such but I can only press "cancel" button, because "install button" doesn't works. Looks like something is checking if the .apk is legal or not. Also when trying to switch to package installer from task manager I can't, it's also inactive, but other open apps are working as well (can switch to them).
Anyone can help me please?
Thanks in advance!
Have you enabled installing of non-market apps?
Ah, found what caused the problem. It was Lux auto brightness.

If you won't enable it, you will get the message "non-market apps blablabla". You won't get to the point where you can press "install" and "cancel".
But the case is closed, found the solution.
