i have galnet MIUI 2.11.26-ICS, now whenever i'm trying to flash another custom ROMs (stock, GB, ICS), my wifi isn't working, i can turn it on, but when it comes to scanning network it's stuck.
can anyone guide me to fix this????

When I got done installing The ICS Rom from ZR3D, the wifi option in the settings just says error on it and I can not turn it on and when I download apps for wifi tethering it also does not work. I seem to have this problem with all of the custom ROMs I chose. What am I doing wrong?

I flashed new ROM on my Lenovo P780, its EU rom LiFe v0.7.
Everything is working fine and stable, but one thing isnt,
I cant turn on Wifi or Bluetooth.
When I try to turn it ON, the turning on animation appears, but it keeps coming back as OFF. So I just cant turn it on.
I was trying switch the ROM back to stock rom, but this Wifi error is still there.
Does anyone know what to do with this ?

Did you make a full backup of your stock ROM? If not, you are doomed because of the WiFi and Bluetooth MAC address or NVRAM data probably have been wiped, thus you cannot switch on WiFi and Bluetooth at all.
Probably you can fix it, but I don't know whether it works or not though.

I'm having an issue with the wifi not turning on (it stays grey saying turning on but never does) all other radios work, just not wifi. I cant get it to run on any rom except for stock. I am s-off if that helps solve anything. I've tried flashing boot.omg, I've tried other kernels, I went back full stock newest update.. still no good. If the Rom is custom WiFi refuses to turn on.

Im having a strnge issues these days ..i have notice wifi acting weird on custom roms /custom kernels. On stock miui wifi connects perfectly when ever i move to other custom roms im facing bit odd things to my wifi ..it just shows saved not connected .in official RR it does . even if i flash any kernel wifi having that issue .i try to flash persist .img from dev rom ..prob still is there. Any idea how to fix my wifi.

restart your modem. your wifi ssid is hidden ?
Use static connections, in advanced settings of your wifi setup. I use static, somehow dhcp does not work for me
