Tested and working.Don't forget to do a NAND before in case you don't like it.
Just download the zip file, put it in the root of your SD Card and flash it.
IT INCLUDES VOICE SEARCH + GOOGLE NOW.LIKE EVERYTHING ON NEXUS 7.IT ALSO WORKS ON ANY ICS ROM.
Google Now
I'm guessing you have to be on just ics aosp?
There's already a flashable zip posted here. Works great. I don't know what this one includes, it just says apk... But the flashable zip in the other post includes the tts files for Google Now to speak back, accept your voice commands without any work around, and support offline voice recognition.

Hi I was wondering if anyone knows how I could get this on my phone. I have a vibrant and my cousin has a captivate and we are both on T-Mobile but I want something like a apk or a flashable cwm zip that would be compatible on both the captivate and the vibrant. Please someone help me, thanks in advance

Some roms come with wifi calling. Just gotta look in the listed features in the op... froyo ones are more likely to be better and less half-assed. Idk anything about captivate... tell him to get a vibrant

Ya but isn't there a way to just download an apk or flash a zip file to make it work but I want it to work on any phone.
Sent from my GT-I9000 using XDA Premium App
Not at my pc, but you can do this. Install Bloater (made by a dev here on xda) and use that to install wiring calling. Neat and overall useful app. Here is the link: http://rootzwiki.com/showthread.php?t=591&

Actually, head to the Dev section and look for EDT Project V ROM thread. In the OP there is the wifi calling .zip file attached which you can flash through recovery. Just did it myself and worked like a charm.

It should work just fine. Check out the 1.3.1 thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=925548
He has it listed under "Addons" which you flash yourself, so I think that tells you it works/is compatible w/ his rom. If you want to stick w/ their stuff, head here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/bionix-v/files/
Download the samsung-apps.zip, open it, drill into system -> app, and extract the wifi-calling .apk file and install like any other app.
I flashed the wifi calling zip from the project v rom thread and the wifi calling doesn't seem to work. All it says is that it is enabling but it never does. I am on simply galaxy v2.7.2 rom
Sent from my GT-I9000 using XDA Premium App
Do you think it has something to do with the model number being it says GT-I9000. When I really have a vibrant
Sent from my GT-I9000 using XDA Premium App
did you try the .apk route?
I downloaded bloater and there doesn't seem to be any wifi calling app in there
Sent from my GT-I9000 using XDA Premium App
i dont think it would work for the captivate since t-mobile is stingy about this stuff
here are two apk's you can try. i dont know if either will work on the captivate.
both from same xda thread. one is on page 1 and the other is on page 12
Page 1
Page 12 <<<the one on page 12 is the one i used on my vibrant and it works just fine
(its in post #118)
Both of them did not work on my vibrant, all it does is say that it is enabling but it never really enables it. Do you think it is the model number.

Can you clarify on the SQL part here please? I'm curious on what would it mean here, since the usual meaning of SQL as in the database query language doesn't seem to apply here.

"SQL" isn't a real term - it's just made up baloney. It's just a colloquial term to describe the concept of a SQ system that can play at a loud volume. Structured Query Language wasn't what I was referring to. I take it you haven't been to many sound competitions.

Could anyone point me in direction of a fully functional s voice?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I717 using xda app-developers app
if you are looking for a fully functional svoice for a jb rom, you wont find one, since it really works best on ICS roms...
it will sometimes sort of work on a jb rom, but not like it does on an ics rom..
Vlingo beta, in the market, generally works better on jb roms, but even that doesn't work 100% of the time..
If you flash Flapps ICS rom, in his tools app, he includes a properly functioning svoice app
Could you link me DL or the thread to flapps ROM? Thanks

Of course it's the 4.3 gallery. There is no way he posted the Sense 5 gallery app. It requires porting, and you can't just install it. It wouldn't work.
It would need special modules and libs and maybe even bin files. It's hard to port sense 5.

It is easy ....
You have to do is just select the image and hold it for 2-3 second ( by this image or images can be select ) and after that
One bar will be appear in header like share this file or something like that and there you can share your image in what ever you like....
Hit thanks if I helped you....
I know how to call up SHARE, BUT share via "Message" option is not available.
