Sense Crashing since ICS update - HTC Rezound

Since I upgraded to ICS on my Rezound I have had the Sense UI crash three time. Never had Sense crash before the update. Anyone else experiencing the same thing?

I haven't had sense ui crash but the phone did.

Factory reset. Doing that if you have problems after an ota will fix a lot of issues.

+1 to the above. Depending on a lot of factors, an upgrade can cause all sorts of havoc with your phone. Factory resetting will get you back to a clean base.

Try flashing the latest leaked ruu

Are you s off? was it the full ruu? Did you flash it twice? sounds like kernel didn't flash.

This.
You def had an improper flash
Sent from my ADR6425LVW using XDA
Do you have mismatched firmware and hboot? I had this issue.
This has been happening to me also lately, some days it won't reboot at all, other days (like today) it rebooted 4 times within a span of about 2 hours, two or three were in the the span of about 10 minutes of each other. The odd thing is I'm running Scott's CleanROM DE v1.4 with the new firmware.

You probably need to flash a patch, depending upon the ROM. More details will help.
I had the same issues. I had to flash back to the prior ICS leak radios and then no problems. They didn't play well on my phone for some reason . I also had some sms receiving issues in them as well.
Sent from my ADR6425LVW using Tapatalk 2
I just wiped data, cache and system then reinstalled CleanROM DE with only the apps I regularly use and everything has been fine.

(Tmobile) Tapatalk 2 crashing

Not sure if anyone else is experiencing this issue but every time I reply to a thread on any forum, tt2 crashes. Any one else getting this? I sent in a report to Tapatalk.

i have problems with that app getting laggy. just that app.
i fc then restart and it's fine.
It happens with my Sammy 3 too

I have that issue too on my Sprint Galaxy S III.
|Trolling with a smile|
I have started to get this issue with my Verizon Galaxy S3 as well. Never had it on my Droid 2 Global running CyanogenMod 9, and my usage patterns are pretty much the same, I'd think.
Well I'm glad it's not just my configuration. Hopefully TT fixes it soon its very annoying.

I'm on stock so it really shouldn't be happening.
|Trolling with a smile|
Same just rooted.

The app is just ****ty. Mine crashes all the time and lags. I wish there was a mobile version of the xda site cuz I hate this stupid app.
I was getting bad lag on the XDA Premium App and Tapatalk 2 (Sprint, stock rooted)
I ended up using the V6 Supercharger (Google it if you don't know what it is) and it's working a lot better (using 1000HP settings)
You can use Guide The dev of V6 posted to modify your services.jar and it'll work
I posted a modified services.jar for Sprint users only here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=29038135
So far Tapatalk and Xda apps haven't crashed or lagged since applying those 1000HP settings

Same here, sprint sg3
Same here. Crashes often and is very laggy and jumpy most of time.
Sent str8 from my half eaten Banilla Ice Cream Samich
Mine can be laggy but very rarely. It has never crashed though. I know I just got an update this morning for Tapatalk 2.

Mine recently started doing the choppy scrolling, not sure why. The update did not fix it.
I'm wondering if it's just specific to our device.
They just updated it. Testing to see if it's fixed.

Anyone else's DNA freezing, rebooting?

I've had the DNA since 11/21 and I'm surprised more people are not complaining about the phone freezing up and rebooting?
I saw the other post about DNA problems and he mentioned Chrome causing the problem. My DNS froze running Chrome as well so I uninstalled that but it still freezes up when I am in the Mail and Gmail application. It does not happen with a certain action in any application so I am not sure why it keeps freezing up and then rebooting.
I do not have a lot of apps but I am using UCCW, Simi Battery Widget, and Android Pro Widgets on my homescreens. Other than those widgets I pretty much only use the Internet browser, camera, phone, Play Music, and Facebook.
Is anyone else having the same problem with their DNS randomly freezing and rebooting?
I don't think it's a phone issue, but more of an app issue? Remember not all apps are truly compatible with this phone as of yet. Sure, you might be able to download the app you want, but it may not play nice with this new device. I say start fresh, do a factory reset, and add apps all over again. I tend to stay away from apps like UCCW, BW, and so on as I think those are not really ready for this phone. Of course I could be wrong though?
If the problem occurs after the factory reset, I say exchange it for a new one, and hope it's a good phone.
Good Luck!
I discovered the same thing yesterday but luckily I was able to duplicate back to Any.DO. So I just step carefully around the app where it works.
I am using Power Widget and Beautiful Widgets on my home screen with no issues so far.
I would take the previous posters recommendations.

I guess it's just me then. Thanks for the replies.
I just thought it was weird because I really don't run that many apps and like minimal style homescreens. I had the Galaxy Nexus and used to run all different types of ROMs (CM10, AOKP, Jelly Belly, Paranoid Android, etc.) (4.1, 4.1.2, 4.2) and I never had an issue with that phone freezing up like the DNA.
No problem here

I have two DNA's, picked them up on 11/21. As of yet neither have had any issues, even the batteries have performed better than expected. I actually ditched the razr maxx hd. Maybe its a manufacturer issue, exchanging it shouldn't be an issue.

I saw the demo at the Verizon store randomly reboot for no apparent reason. This was early on the day it was released, and I don't think they had added any apps yet. I clenched my teeth and bought it anyway. So far, so good.

if you are rooted, you can delete system apps using titanium, root explorer, etc, etc.
Personally, if a brand new phone is having reboots after a hard reset, it would be getting exchanged.

Why did you ditch the RAZR?
I am considering the DNA or the Razr as my next unit.
i have been dealing w/the reboots and freezing now more and more each day. sucks i'm not sure wats causing this to happen.i'm rooted and still on stock jellybean..could it be a kernel or something cause this really didnt start to happend til i changed kernels.
the only i noticed is a few of my apps were not compatible. some apps will run until i select a certain action then fc. some apps start but then shut right down. these apps just arent for the dna yet its ok delete and repeat lol
99% chance Its your kernel. The guys are doing a great job with the new kernels, but only one has been truly stable. DSB's first kernel is the only stable one I am aware of (aside from stock). I am currently on his 1.2.5 and it seems stable, but not 100% sure just yet.

Sense reloads on JB

I tend to listen to podcasts and use navigation a lot(I'm a driver) and im noticing more frequently since the update that sense will reload when backing out of Navigation. I also get it when backing out of memory intensive games too. The same games I use to play and the same navigation I've always used in ICS and not have this issue. Back in the day with Sense reloads you would see a "Loading" message and sense would come back. Now it's just a home screen with 0 widgets that eventually reappear.
What gives? I thought I'd be done with sense reloads by the 3rd product cycle. I know the whole manage your apps and use less home screens tips. The thing is I'm set up the same way I've always been set up, shouldn't have to change anything.

Odd... I haven't had sense reload one time since the update. On ICS I had it happen a few times but it was rare. Runs smoother for me now. Are you stock?

tell me about it..the lack of the loading messages makes me believe its something else. But it sure as hell resembled a sense reload..All widgets gone for a few seconds then start coming up..

I used to get that on my old EPIC. Nothing on the screen and seconds later icons would populate. When I had sense reloads on ICS I always got the loading message. I think you should definitely try a different rom, as it seems no one else is getting it on JB. Goodluck dude, hope it gets better for you.

I used to have a sense reload just about everytime I hit the home button on ICS. It was unbearable. Now that I have JB it rarely happens, and when it does it loads significantly faster. I'm stock btw. I used to be rooted, but went stock after testing out jellybean and sense 4+

HTC can't win. People ***** that sense reloads so they implement the most aggressive anti multitasking "bug" to fix it.
Now that they unbroke multitasking sense may reload more.
It works fine for me personally, but I un install, freeze, or refuse to run memory intensive things like face unlock, live wallpapers, and some stock HTC and Sprint junk
HTC can win.. Simply don't F### up and do dumb crap. If they want to continue with sense(which I enjoy) then make sure the device has proper resources.

Phone running very slow while downloading a rom?

For some reason ever since I started using sense 5 Roms my phone becomes almost unusable whenever I'm downloading a new rom.
Any ideas?
