Just flash CF-Root 6.4 with Odin and you are fully rooted. See item 1 in my signature. Read the CF-Root thread good before flashing.

I've got a problem with downloading the CF-ROOT file from sensation rom topic.

To install this ROM, I need to root my SGSII, but in order to do so, I need to download those files:

Hi,
I just bought the SGS2 and its kernel version is BUKJ3
I want to root it but i cant find the right insecure and original kernel for that version..
can anyone help please? ive searched everywhere.

unzip this to get a TAR file, and flash from ODIN PDA section.

Don't flash cf-root, flash any other (ex. Siyah), if you can't found kernel for your version of ROM.

Thank you, it worked perfectly! But what do i do if i want to install a rom and clockwork/rommanager isnt installed? Do i just have to choose CMW zip thats on my SD-card in recovery and install the ROM after ive chose the CMW file?

If you want to install a custom rom, the easiest way would be to first install Siyah kernel. It was already said above!

SIMPLE way is copy desire kernel to your ext sd/ int sd then reboot to CWM then select your kerneL just flash... u are done mate

I rooted mine with cf autoroot.
As I know cf root 6.4 work with 4.1.2 but didnt try jet.
Edit: cf autoroot dont have cwm only superSU

The re-repartition was not ticked but odin stuck at get pit for mapping :,-(

Yes it's a great chance that the phone is still working but don't know how to root it cause odin stuck at get pit for mapping
Is the phone working after the failed flash, or not?
you can also flash cwm recovery(only) from odin separately and then superuser.zip from that recovery.

My phone still working it turns on all good god bless and hope my phone will not brick cause I know what it is. I have bricked my galaxy note several times and the last time was really bad cause I have done with factory reset and it hard bricked. The Galaxy s3 is an amazing phone love it so much I really want to gain best out of it too.
