I wonder, which launcher is capable to create folder in drawers other than touchwiz?
LG, home launcher has it.. It also has a S3 theme so you can make it look like touch wiz itself

I think pretty much most of them do. Apex and nova definitely do.

I am using Apex launcher and it has many options when it comes to folder creation so you may want to try it.

cuba go launcher kawan... go launcher ada banyak "effect" (pergerakan screen)
Touchwiz wins this time
the Galaxy s2 stock TW launcher is the only launcher capable of doing that
---------- Post added at 05:57 AM ---------- Previous post was at 05:55 AM ----------
and of course Tochwiz UX too
I think nearly every launcher is able to do so. Go Launcher Ex is a good one!

Anyone know of a "minimalist" type launcher?
Nova Launcher is the best right now, but it's for ICS.
If you're still on GB, then use ADW EX.

Im currently using Nemus Launcher and i love it. Prettt smooth and the graphics are nice. Its kind of new, but it have all the features that you are going to need. It gets updated regulary, so the devs are still working with it.

You have to open the app drawer then hit then hit the menu button on your device then edit, now you should be able to drag/drop apps from the drawer onto the dock
Sent from my MB860 using XDA
Nope, just "Add page" / "Add folder"
In app drawer select edit from menu and drag the icon u want place on the dock in the dock area or change the number of dock icon from preferences/dock settiings.
Tw launcher is the smoothest for me, but it doesn't have landscape mode and hasn't been uptdated since ages ago so i switched to nemus... it would be great to have the best of both!

If it doesn't let you drag/drop then go into TWlauncher settings and go into Dock and change the icon count to 4, by default its on 1 I think, then restart & save and it should work

when my phone was in CM7 i used ADW launcher it was great
in CM9 i use nova launcher
I have been using Go Launcher lately. I really like the app drawer layout!
I find this widget selection screen clumsy and ugly in Touchwiz, it's much better in GolacherEX and other launchers.
Anyone know how to make it display widgets list alike, like it was before?
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app
long press home screen, select widgets from menu....job done
Thats exactly how widgets look when i do that, this was like this on SGS3Touchwiz, Galaxy S2 had this list alike widget list, also had mod that same widgets were grouped together.

ah, my bad, I'm using nova launcher which gives the old style list, must be touchwiz way then....change launcher
Nah...first time now i like how stock launcher looks, nova is ugly.

If you need stock TW launcher then I think you need to get used to it. This is how stock ICS launcher handles widgets and apparantly sammy didn't bother changing it.. But I kinda like it.
Lots of things sammy dont think, they should have listen the users more. Nova is ok, Golauncher seems better, but i stick with stock till someone makes new hacked version of this touchwiz.
I really like how stock launcher change pages, havent seen so cool looking on any launchers even they have more options to change it.

I do like TW launcher but what bugs me a lot is the way TW launcher create folder. Samsung choose to use ICS style on the widgets but decided not to use ICS style on adding folder. Doesn't make any sense. :banghead:

Maybe use apex launcher and then choose touchwiz theme as design? Dunno if that fits all your needs though
I use sslauncher and hitting the menu key gives the traditional.Samsung options, like settings / wallpaper and long press the screen gives options for Widgets etc.

I have always just used Apex launcher. In wanting the Kit Kat theme, I decided I would give it Nova another go. I have tried it on my GS 3 and Nexus and never noticed a difference. However, my GS 4 was laggy on Apex, so again, I gave Nova another try. It's a world of difference, Nova has no lag for me. It's shocking that the launcher made that big a difference, but it did for my phone. I know Apex has since updated their launcher, however, sticking with Nova now. I am rooted on MK2 with some debloat. Swiping between screens and just going to the App drawer is now lag free. Something so simple has made the phone feel much more responsive.
No problem with apex here on HD12 and safestrap. No response issues to speak of

Google experience launcher for me. Can't say why but I just can't stop using it.
Lately Ive been partial to buzz launcher. Community is good at uploading themes and they just made downloading of themes much easier and organized

I've been on Nova launcher from the start. Have apex and go launcher a shot but they don't compare to the flexibility of Nova launcher prime.

Just switched from long time use of Nova to Action Launcher, have to say it is a refreshing change and I really like the unique features like swipe icon to show widget. Can't say one is better than the other I used Nova for so long and loved it, it has more options and is pretty smooth but Action Launcher is very useful and offers quick access to apps and widgets.

They are so similar... can´t decide
or is there one "HAVE TO" feature, mybe for a tablet, I am not aware of, one has - the other doesnt´t that decides it all?

Personally, I love Nova Launcher because I don't use a dock and have a two finger gesture to open the app drawer.
I'm using apex launcher. It has tablet mode to hide the dock. Can use gesture. And the most important thing, I can install apex notifier to show notification bubble over the app icon

I just installed nova launcher to compare with apex. Surprisingly, all the nova features are present in apex. On top of that, apex has KitKat style search bar, customizable desktop portrait grid, Apex notifier as mention before, smoother drawer scroll.
I suggest u install both launcher and compare them to see which one u like
Sent from my SM-P605 using xda app-developers app
I have both, but have a slight preference for Apex. There is not much difference between the two. One thing I like about Apex is drawer animations seem smoother.
I have only used Apex and Nova. You can't go wrong. I personally decided to buy Nova. Nova also has a notification bubble addon. Plus widgetlocker is made by the same guy(s) which is a plus.
It doesn't really matter though. Both great launchers. Both free to try out.
You can get Go launcher prime for free at the moment via an In-app code (appsales)
Nova FTW all day EVERY day

Nova
I've being trying them both on the tablet.
Nova seems faster.
You can't go wrong with either. They are both free so give them a try and see what you like better.
