I rooted my phone with Xperia.Root.rev4 but recovery didn't worked, tried installing recovery with SE_Tweak_Installer also don't work.
It's so annoying when I flash zip with ROM Manager and after turning off I need to keep pressing Vol Down to go in recovery to install zip (it's not automated)

No it doesnot require unlocked bootloader.
First select the .ftf you want to flash in flashtool. It will start preparing the files. After 10-15 sec,it will ask you to connect your phone in flashmode.
How to enter flashmode:
Power off your phone.
Connect your phone to PC with volume down button pressed.

With unlocked bootloader, you can flash custom kernels. These make your phone fast and smooth and can increase battery life.
You can always root your phone with unlocked bootllader.
And the BIGGEST pros of unlocked bootloader is you can flash "Jelly Bean" which is almost fully functional and stable for daily use.
