Must be a problem with cm10 then.
Try flash another ROM of another release of cm10 and see if it works.
NFC is really of no use to us in Ireland yet anyway so you're not missing out on anything.

Have you tried the stock battery already?
Also did you do a complete wipe (system format and changed modem)

Last option i can think of is Odin with repartition, but be careful to use the correct pit, also try it without sd, if this also doesn't solve your problem, i guess it's a hardware fault.

[Q] IS CRT animation available for the Jellybean Roms?

As the title states, is CRT animation available for the jelly bean roms that we now have?
I have done a fair bit of searching, couldn't get a conclusive answer so thought i'd post a question.
My apologies if it's blatantly obvious, i simply couldn't find a straight answer.
Many thanks.
It is available on aosp and aokp roms and few stock sammy roms....i couldnt tell you which ones though.

S3 or 9100? Thats Two different phones there!
Check your imei and report back.

Have you tried going into mobile networks settings and ensure your APN (Access Point Names) are set correctly? In rare cases, these may have been resetted during the full wipe and flash.
If you dont know what are your carrier's APN settings, try googling for them.

Need a fm radio app

Hey guys,
I have a rooted galaxy s2 running jelly bam android 4.2.2 rom, fm radio app is missing in the rom. I need stock jelly bean rom of galaxy s2, or any other alternative app. I tried fm radio by Sutton shin of play store it didn't worked for me
(not Internet radio apps like tune in etc. A traditional fm app like stock app)
Thank you.

Yes, For now none will wrk on AOKP JB v4.2.2 or roms based on it
Bottom line is, if you really need it, run stock. If you want an alternative (to work on AOSP), code it yourself. Just about every dev who's ever been asked about this has gone 'Who cares ?' (Codeworkx did this quite memorably once & threw a bunch of expletives in for good measure).

Thanks for your suggestion. If I had coded it myself I would have posted the link for the apk file along with this post, since the question was about custom roms there is no question of stock rom

Sorry mate, don't own this device anymore. You can get this app from any stock ROM. It's under /system/apps

some rom flashing questions

I've got Samsung shv e110s, I was wondering if I can flash i9100 rom on it, and if i can, can you give me some roms in Hebrew.
You just cannot. The hardware of these two devices are different. So it won't work.
