Okay, so I have this ROM in my Xperia Ray
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1679658
I have modified it by removing some Bloatware
and installed these mods
XPERIA S LOCKSCREEN

NOTIFICATION LED FIX
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1723749
STATUS BAR WIDGETS
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1534903
Obviously, I Run in ICS 4.0.4, Now, my big mystery question Is,
Which file specifically affects the Recent Apps window?
Whenever I install the quick panel settings[PART C] after I Installed the ROM, when I click the recent apps button from the status bar,
the recent apps window is the ICS one,
but after installing the Notification Led Fix and and the XS Lockscreen, when i click the recent apps button from the status bar,
the recent apps window is the GB one[Which i do not like too much],
Any help would be highly appreciated! :fingers-crossed:

so to begin with ive seen ome replacements that replace the notification bar with one of its own, metro ui being an example, but, i have already downloaded the stoc gingerbread launcher from the market and was wondering if there is a way to get the gingerbread notification bar without rooting or if there is a launcher that replaces the stock bar with it. thanks alot guys
Last night I found this application developed by FireZenk and I want to share with you too.
Hope you like it!!!
I tested on CM10.1 and work well. Try it on different firmware/ROM's and report if work.

At last a bar and a custom notification panel to suit the user!
And without losing features!
Super Status Bar is the notification bar you always wanted.
Not a Root? because there is no problem, Super Status Bar is here to change things!Customize your taskbar to the smallest detail!
With Super Status Bar can change the position of the icons in the status bar, you can change your appearance, use the backgrounds that you like, download new themes each week, change the text fonts, simplify your status bar to a minimum expression or extend it until the unimaginable features, all to make your status bar to your liking and not liking the manufacturer.
Choose from a large number of themes and also ... be the first to test the status bar ICE CREAM SANDWICH!
You can see the notifications on the lock screen or even while you play!
You only have to activate Accessibility options Android
Now you can customize the notifications panel!
You'll also have quick access to the most important system notifications without having to deploy the notification bar, with direct access included in the application, such as calls, sms's or gmail's
And if this were not enough, you can enjoy the new notifications panel which add more features to the classic status bar, things like shortcuts to switch wi-fi, bluetooth, gps, mute and more.

oh! it is a nice app, thank u!
Tested on CM10.2, it`s working but you got boot loop when enable or disable Super Status Bar, you`ve to take out the battery and put it again to make the device boot normally.

I don't know if it was a CM10.2 related bug, but when I turn off the Super Status Bar the phone immediately end in a boot loop. I had to wipe data
I have installed a ROM by Niaboc79 called the eXistenZ 1.3.5 ultra for the xperia s. Than i downloaded opensemc app and forced a navigation bar to show up which worked perfectly. Then i flash a zip file which makes the status bar and the navigation bar transparent which i need the most but after flashing that everything worked well but i have a small problem, everytime i go to task switcher i get no small apps bar all i get is the open apps in the recent apps column but no small apps bar. I got XPERIA S LT26i locked bootloader. Help me please!!!! this happens to other roms too.
Or can you atleast tell me how to make only the nav bar and status bar transparent on any systemui.apk?

I'm sorry to say that there is no fix for this in my opinion but the reason why it didn't work for me is because I wanted a systemui.apk which gave me transparent status bar and nav bar. To fix this I just kept the original systemui included in ROM and got gravity box which allowed me to change transparency levels of the status and nav bar and again sorry if I couldn't help

Its Okay..
I don't have transparent status bar and nav bar because i used kitkat (its already tranparent)... i used some xposed module too..
Thnks bro..
Try Xposed
instead of flashing a whole zip. try xposed framework to transparent ur statusbar. or u could make it even better then transparent with tinted status bar.
and the best part.. if something doesnt work u could just revert back to stock with a couple taps
Where is it? I updated to new version, checked/unchecked in settings etc. Notification bar still seems like it's from phone and does not have new Themer options.

Installed the new version and when I expand the Notification Bar I see the new function. Would be nice to set items are displayed, but guessing maybe in future update.

Hi, the notification toolbar refers to the bar that appears once you pull down the notification bar, that displays the shortcuts as shown below.

still don't get it. here's a screenshot of my notification toolbar. there's no themer option there, nor is it add-able
The notification bar is horrible, i like the stock android one where i can turn off wifi/bluetooth etc - i downloaded an app that tries to emulate these things but its not the real deal.
I already use a custom launcher -how can i replace the notification bar ?

I think root with xposed framework will do. But I dont touch that, because I always semibricked phones with it.
Personally, I only miss the brightness in there. Mine is clean showing only the clock and my push notifications. The stock multitasking feature is full of the Features you want in the notification bar and also customizable. I like the idea as the multitask switching itself on the most roms is very "empty". Just your windows and thats it. In EUI its like a "quickbar"
