I wanted to disable the googlenow / google search swipe up launch from the bottom bar.
The reason - to use swipepad for another gesture.
I have seen apps in the market that disable the launch of the google app, but the ring still shows up and cannot be used for another app.
Can anyone suggest a way of doing it ?
Thanks
Which phone are you using and are you on stock or a custom ROM?

The Slim Bean ROM that I use can set multiple ring targets to whatever you want.

Does anyone know of an existing mod or app that basically allows the galaxy s4 to have the s-pen features like the galaxy note 3 does? Where you could double tap or tap the screen with 2 features to open up the air command screen?

Looks like the Samsung Calendar.
I think it's this one https://www.dropbox.com/s/edro842mg61oqul/Android-MonthCalendarWidget.apk
It's a proof of concept calendar widget made by a famous developer the name of which escapes me now. It doesn't do anything other than displaying the current month though so it's not very useful. It's plenty pretty though

Woah. Thanks a lot. . Spot on. Where did you find this app from?? Play store. . You're amazing. . I just made my note 10.1 2014 edition just like that pocket now video.

Nope. Samsung calendar widget is solid and ugly. . And non resisable

It's similar to this one from APW. Difference being with APW's you can toggle between month and agenda (daily planner) view, move between months, and use the header to launch an app and to create a new task or appointment. It's also as you can see available as a lock screen widget.
