It has NO CM9 traces other than the stuff in the settings menu and the CM Stats (gotta figure out how to eliminate that, used to be an APK) but its small, no CM Apps, and optimizes the hell out of your system!
Hi.. I notice in one of the screenies it shows your using the same kernel i believe from cm9 devil toast. The last version of devil toast i used was 7.1...Rom was great aside from the battery....I assume its about the same with this rom? Only reason i ask is in your future update thing it mentions better battery......Still gonna give the rom a try....just have too..:laugh:

yeah it uses agrabren's base and kernel, but I used the latest CM base (Devil Toast 0.7.4) and it had GREAT battery life from what people reported, this will make it better
Just as I go to see if you had paranoid up, & I see this. Just kicking ass & taking names today aren't you. Is 3D working in this? I didn't see it in OP, or answer from the other question about 3D.

I'm gonna try and use this leak (Which is unstable) to port the stable rom for the Sensation. Then I'll try to use that to port the AOSP ICS for the Evo 3D. I'm also working on a CM7 port based off of 7.1.0 for the Inc2. Fun stuff

Wow , that will be awesome if you can get this working !
To me it seems to be just the water mark, random reboots and phone working, otherwise it seems to run fine besides the market giving an error but thats an easy fix.
So I guess the question is how hard is it to remove atleast the random reboots and phone working?

I'm not even bothering with it. I'm just using the kernel and libs to port the Sensation ICS rom that works perfectly.

Fastboot can also be used to flash kernels.
or just do what you did and use the new updated android-verison.txt.
This leak is not worth the time guys trust me... It's to buggy... You can't even get calls on it I have a Rom made up to flash but didn't even post it because of the bugs... There will be a release soon then we will be in buisness.. it is worth a flash to look at tho

and yes - htc has NOT released source - i just seem to have good skills...
camera preview isnt working due to a gpu issue i almost got fixed
- but camera is 100% functioning and usable and saves clean clear images

the display is scrambled but if you take the photo then look at it, it will be fine and not scrambled.

You're right Chad, sorry. I used r14 and the preview was scrambled but the pictures took fast and looked great!!

If you would like to test MeanROM as part of your research you cannot go wrong. I have been using MeanROM since v0.2 and MikeyXDA really rsearches and listens to his followers with requests, issues (if any) and ideas to improve the user experience. As much as I would like to say this is the best ROM for the EVO 3D, I would ask you check into it yourself and decide. However, I do not think you will be disappointed because the Meanies community really provides realtime feedback and a camaraderie unchallenged in this forum.

long story.. he still making kernels.. his work is over at infectedrom site..
if you have S-Off definitely give the ICS roms a try, MeanRom is amazing. Draw Something is at least twice as fast as it was on gingerbread! if you're S-on unfortunately ICS is not going to work correctly.

I think agrebren has/had a working version of his Rom devil toast working with wimax, but I don't think the current version does due to a different kernel being used. You could check that thread.

Toast has a CM9 with WiMax, but some other things are broken. Look on goo.im under toastch to find his ROM. As stated, Agrabren is working on implementing it into the 3.x kernel and his ROM.
