Hey guys,
I have the ED04 update and I'm rooted. I am trying to backup using CWM 3.0.2.8 but it keeps throwing me an error about the image. Any ideas on how I can do a backup before I start switching ROM?
Try going into mounts and storage and unmounting and remounting each one

Does it happen to all the backups you have done? Did you do a SuperWipe and then try and restore your backup?
All back ups n I've only done wipe thru recovery not really sure what super wipe is

Download SuperWipe. Put it on your SD card. Flash it through CWM. Then try and restore your backup.

I've made a Nandroid backup a couple of times, both on internal and external memory, and every time I try to restore the data part is corrupted
Anybody else had this problem, or does anybody know of a solution?

No solution if corrupt but make sure you use the same recovery version .

It's corrupted every single time for some reason

I've been backing up using the CWM app, not recovery. The app backs up to internal and external.
Recovery doesn't let me back up to external, it says "can't mount backup path"

all of a sudden my vibrant suddenly froze i restarted it with the battery and it got stuck on the Sephamore screen. I went into the recovery and it says "can't mount emmc" when i try to mont external SDcard. It's reading my removable SDcard as intenal. And it can't read the EMMC anymore.
It won't boot, did my EMMC chip die after all these years?
Try formating it

It shows backup completed with no errors. But when i checked the backup file in sd card its only 17mb.
Why is it so?
