Hi guys
I woke up today snuggled up on top of my phone. Now when I try and boot her nothing happens! I've tried removing the batter and powering up. Also leaving it for a few hours with no power or battery but no joy. What could of happened?

Maybe she's angry at you, as didn't even buy her lunch before sleeping with her.
Anyway, did you try charging it?
Also did you try any of the button combos, like power + volume up+home button to get in to recovery or power+ volume down+home buttons to see if you can get into download mode?

Haha, nice.
And it sounds like battery problems, if you can't get into DL mode or recovery try a new battery.

I've tried another battery and still have the same problem. I will have to try the rice trick
Took it out the rice today. It's still not responding to anything! Anyone got a defibrillator? ..........Or any other ideas?
I take it the motherboard is dead. Do you think they will know thats its rooted if I send it back to Samsung?

take it to samsung service center and tell tham that you plugged the phone to the charger at night and at morning when u checked it was dead .! act like a fool as if u dont know anything .!
How can they see the device is rooted, since it's competely dead?

i was flashing my device with odin and the PC restarted by it self during the flash process now my mobile is not powering and nothing happen when i press the power buttn i removed the battery and put it again and still nothing

get a jig, look it up on ebay, it may help or may not.... it seems like you may have bricked your phone....
does the phone still somehow show up as connected to the pc or not?

Its dead....I can guarantee you a jig will not work so dont waste your time....thats a hard brick, and if you cant even get it to turn on, its game over

If your computer REALLY just restarted by itself, it is not your fault, sometimes odin can hang up and crash (not responding) and kill your phone too.

Just say it started getting hot, you went to bed, woke up the next morning, and it would not turn on.
Or warranty repair might do it.
I bricked my old HTC Hero when I made a mistake flashing the radio and I returned it to store and had it back repaired 2 weeks later . The repair report blames the mainboard and replaced it all free.

so i have no idea what happened to my phone, i left it charging and when i woke up my phone was dead, it will not power on no matter what, i think it might be bricked or something i can't reach download more or anything... any ideas on bringing it back to live?
take out a battery -- plug it in to your machin--hold volume up + volume down + put the battery in...see if that gets u in DL mode..
i tried that and nothing i installed the boot loaders so i tried it the new way up and power button and nothing as well any ideas?
my guess is open up the phone and check if the ribbon cable connected the battery contact base to the logic board is not loose.
that might be a good idea, ima give it a go.

Try to hold the power button for 20 second
tried that, didn't work

Recharge ur device and try to volume down button with power button for 20 second
was fully charged when it died, if there is no hardware reset button on the device, maybe i'll get lucky when the battery goes flat.
If it doesn't work, i'll have to send it in...

got it working, all i had to do is let the battery run flat and then charge it, now i'm going to root it.
I had my phone out with me last night fully charged, halfway through the night i took it out my pocket to find it was off , bit strange.
But not only that it wouldn't power on no matter what.
Usually you would try removing the battery (can't in the s)
Eventually managed to get it to startup holding down volume up and power together (nexus1 fastboot) which booted it up normally??
Im a bit concerned the phone is faulty, anyone experienced this?

Try to do an hard reset, and see if this happen again
omg its just happened to me i switched it of at night and now it wont boot, when i plug the charger in it shows the orange led but wont boot?
any suggestions? while i was writing this it switched and now just switch off again

Leave it on the charger for a while. Maybe the battery is empty.
You can always press Volume up and the power button and wait for three vibrations to make a hard reset (like battery out)

I had this horrible experience on day one
Power and volume up key pressed together for 5 seconds and mine was a bright day again
happend to me before aswell, because the battery was pretty empty. leaving it on the charger for a couple of minutes resolved the problem
My wife's x10 mp did this with a faulty sim - have you another sim to try?

thied jig, nothing happen as well..
but after pressing the home or other combination, the part near to camera heats up.
what seems to be the prob?

flashed aokp m1, then restore user data via titanium backup, then the phone restart suddenly. later that it stuck at boot screen, i long hold the power button to restat it. then it cant be turn ON anymore.

Those are the signs of a hardbrick. Were you on a safe kernel before flashing AOKP? If not, then you might have triggered the eMMC brickbug and hardbricked you phone.

No it might be battery(Motherboard) bug. I had it twice, the motherboard had a issue and it ate battery like mad. It takes all the juice out of the battery (even when off) and renders the battery useless after that it can no longer boot even with charger plugged in. Only way is to give it to samsung for a motherboard replacement
dont know if the kernel causing the hardbrick or not.....been using dorimanx for a long time, so far no prob.
anyway, already sent my i9100 for warranty claim, the technician said they might need to change the mobo.....sounds good or worse?
