Volume down at start dosen´t work
Start your phone (it will vibrate)
Press then release the power button (repeat until you see the logo gets brighter)
The first line in the menu is reboot, if you keep on pressing power button(see controls) your phone will reboot.
To navigate (Controls):
Move Up = Volume Up
Move Down = Volume Down, Menu
Back = Back
Enter/Accept = Power Button, Home key
I have installed the older version, then this new version. Now I have two recovery. I can use the volume down method and power button method. I prefer volume down to enter recovery (older version, I like the controls better)

first, make sure u unlocked bootloader and based on .62 FW

I don't understand why would it not work with power button with your phone (working with mine). To enter cwm that was included on this kernel you need to use power button. The original poster even wrote:

Have you tried this kernel? Because I can enter cwm using power button method clearly describe by the op/creator of the kernel.

My GSII Home button is not working suddenly
I tried to get into ClockworkMod Recovery to wipe personal data, but saddly I found that I couldn't proceed further or get out the recovery without the home button
What should I do now?

Switch the phone off ? Long press the power button for 10-15 seconds or as long as it takes

I tried shutting it down or even taking the battery out, but when it boot up again, it's still the recovery mode
Power button have you tried that to navigate as select button .
USB recovery jig may get you to download mode and enable remove custom rom/root by flashing stock rom and removing custom rom counter . That would put it into a warranty returnable state .

Certainly with some versions of CWM using it right now .

it's CWM v4.0.0.2. Power button is not a select button on my GS2. it looks like a screen on/off button.
I'll get a USB jig to have a try . Thanks for your advice.
In v4 of CWM I have to go up and down alot to enable/disbale menu button then my home button works for select

V 5 power button will also select .

Just flashed my SGS2 and the yellow triangle has gone

you can link to to the Status bar swipe rght to left (or left to right) This will allow a popup much like holding the power button on other custom devices with a full reboot menu.. Recovery, reboot, power, and bootloader..
This option is in Base options status bar, works great!

Why would you need menu button?
Vol up and down scrolls and home button selects.

The menu button won't work because you don't need it. Use volume up and down to navigate, back to go back and home to select

Actually in mini pro it does the same as the vol down button. (Scrroll down)

hello i just installed neatrom with full wipe but can't get lock screen to work even the power menu won't show .. if u press on the power button 3 secs the phone turns off ... i tried reinstalling rom and changing to pattern but no luck ...

Try to ask in NeatRom thread in case no one help you... For the power menù, you have to go to "settings -> display -> godown" and you can set all the toggles in power menù..
For the lockscreen, I dont understand well your problem: if you press the power button once (1 sec) what happen?? have you tried to modify lockscreen options???

thanks foor ur respond , the power menu doesn't show even if i changed the settings that ur referring to , if i press the power button once the screen is turned of but when u press home screen or power button again there is no lockscreen just home screen , yes i have tried changing lockscreen options like pattern and pin ...

Re flash rom and tick all the options in settings/display/ scroll down
