Someone asked me how are u using a p500 rom on the p500h. WELL! There is no difference in roms for the P500 and P500h as i use P500 rom on my p500h. this is a very big misunderstanding that they are different. if u have anymore questions about this feel free to ask.
P500h is a branch of p500 and p500h is a Wcdma phone. Correct me if I'm wrong. But yes all p500 roms are compatible with p500h.
I know from experience I have a p500h

the H by my understanding is Telus and Koodo and some US carriers. and my P500h says with google... as you may see in this pic here http://www.321cheese.com/img_kRrCZqelvf6J.png
Yeah, here in Venezuela we get both the one with the Android logo on the Back and the one with the "With Google". Each from different carriers. Also The one with the With Logo is Black and the button's Lights are white and the other one is Silver and the button's lights are blue. Both of them are classified as P500h

Mine has the "With Google" on the back and the inside of the back cover states P500. This is a device bought in Brazil, don't know much about network bands though, so I can't help you with that
EDIT: Not sure whether this makes any difference, but it's an unbranded phone.
I have a P500h too
I have a P500h too. I flashed the [ROM][ICS 4.0.4] LG3 UI | Version 1 by Neko95. After that, my phone started being recognized as a P500 (without the 'h'), even by the play store. My phone is from Koodo.

My question is if the motorola photon after release Sprint works on 3 g MoviStar venezuela gsm. Sorry for my English but is translator
I wish i could help you but language barrier may be a problem
Right now there's a thread for unlocking the gsm radios. You'd have to get them unlocked to use gsm on another network i believe. So until they are unlocked you probably cant use them. Sorry

Hi,currently my LG Thrive(go phone) is running on Android2.2.1. I'm wanting to update to Gingerbread but there seems to be a problem with updating my model. I used the LG mobile tech support, but this program said there is not an update my model. Is this due to my phone a Go phone or because the Phoenix doesn't actuallyhave the update? My sim card is a regular sim card.
Only Optimus S (sprint) has the Gingerbread update so far in the U.S.

AFAIK the only difference between S and V is the carrier.
Optimus V is Virgin Mobile (Which is actually a daughter company of Sprint)
and Optimus S is Sprint.
They are both CDMA so they can both use the same ROMs.
Correct me if I'm wrong, anybody?

I think there are small differences, such as button mapping. IHO has a special Optimus S CM7 ROM, so don't worry, your friend can have some Cyanogen on his phone too
But it's this the right section for the TMo LG Optimus T? Might be adding one of these to my family's collection of Droids...

Hey guys! Soon I'll be buying a G2 outright. I'm on Telus in Canada and I'm just wondering if it really matters what variant I buy. I see a few different models available to buy unlocked and just wanna be sure there's no big difference for me which one I buy.
I suppose if they'll all work just fine, then I should go with the best dev supported model....if there is one.
Thanks for any input.

All the phones in Canada are the D803 version but I got mine through Wind Mobile which is the D801 and came factory unlocked.
Software versions between the 2 are different as well but I'm not sure what is different.
I'm not sure if there are any major differences between the Canadian models but things I saw through xda are that my D801 from Wind is missing the 3rd mic located by the flash. I haven't tried it yet, but I read that this affects the audio zoom function by rendering it barely recognizable and/or useless.
Also, not sure if you would care (but matters to me) is that I am unable to set my D801 LG G2 camera to mute without rooting and flashing another rom.
Thanks! So 803 may be best then. I see just about all the variants available. So maybe I'll focus on the 803.
I'm really hoping signal strength is better than my S2. I gotta go outside where I live to talk or text. Lol

Can anyone confirm that the LTE bands on the Rogers D803 are the same as Bellus?
I may go with a d802....at this point there seems to be more development for it. We'll see in a bit when I'm ready to buy if that changes or not. But seems there isn't much for the 803.

Yes they both use AWS for LTE (Bell and Rogers also have access to BRS 2600, but TELUS doesn't).
I'm using D802
