Been using evolver Rom for a while all of a sudden my phone is getting extremely hot to the point you can't touch it and it then switches onto navigation for some odd reason and I have to switch it off to get it too cool down

switch back to stock and I bet the issue won't happen anymore. or you've been using your phone in different working environments. For example... When tethering on the first Evo wimax, I would have to put the phone in the fridge or freezer to prevent it from overheating while using GB's of data at a hotel. lol
So therefore, what you can do is install a water-cooling mod on your phone. But use Pee as the coolant. it really works! just pee on your phone every half hour. but then poo on it to clean it up. the poo gets rid of the pee smell.

It's runcool, that's what he does. Don't let him get you too butt hurt.
It sounds like a runaway app. If it's Maps, you may need to reinstall the Rom.
Read, Search, Read again, ... Then Ask with Tapatalk 2

Try to remove some app you think are causeing the problem

Yes I've completed the update, I also have 1.22.708.5 and screen capture still works the same as before for me.
Have you tried a factory reset?

Yeah I tried applying RUU + OTA update and screen capture is there. Since I am not using custom ROM I need to find out what did I done to the phone hahaha...
Can anyone tell me which apk is responsible for the screen capture function?
EDIT: I give up, I redo all the changes to the ROM after RUU + OTA and power+home capture is still here. Case closed.
What the title says, I have a gsm EVO and have woken up to a dead phone, that won't charge when off. Big hassle to get it up and running again.
So how can I downgrade to a older version so it will charge while off.

Download an older version, flash it the same way as when you rooted the phone.
Der. Sorry, was having trouble finding proper cwm to flash.

Hi all. I'm seriously of dumping the stock ROM for a modified one, but what bothers me is the 3D functions,like pics,vids,and games.
Can someone list me any custom Sense ROMs that still have 3D?
It is the point of the phone after all.

All Sense 3.0 and Sense 3.5 have 3D working, expect with Sense 3.5 3D games that use real 3D will not work. I'm running Mikrunny right now, works good for me, I can watch 3D and capture 3D.

I was tried using Mikrunny, but a little bit uncomfortable since it didn't came with a twitter + Facebook for HTC sense, do you think I can make the request for this to dev, mate? If the dev can provide it, I'll flash Mikrunny again, eh..

Yes it does, it has Twitter for HTC sense built in, and Facebook for HTC sense is integrated into the regular Facebook account setting on Sense 3.5

Are you sure? Last time when flashing Mikrunny I didn't find peep (twitter for HTC sense) and stream (Facebook for HTC sense), can we install the Apk manually?

They are both integrated into the friend stream app and widgets, I'm using them myself .

I'm currently on Mikrunny again and this is confirmed. I thought the same thing when I first flashed but noticed by contact list pics and friends stream worked fine. After you sign in with the account you use, it will authorize the HTC Sense services for the ones you use during that time as well.

No and don't even try to flash because you can do serious damage to your phone. You need to go to LG development for LG ROMs

just curious, i was asking if anyone still used 4.0 roms. post your rom that you use if you do use one.

Umm, most roms aren't even Sense 4.0 yet. The official OTA to ICS didn't even update to sense 4.0.
Gsm phones have really no choice, Viper port, lucky I have my hands on a test rom that went dead before it was released, to bad because it's a solid rom.

I'm using the 8/9 Viper 3D 4.0 Rom right now. I installed in a few days ago and so far it has been fantastic. No bugs that I have noticed and all features work except for 3d and 4g which isn't a big deal for me anyways. Also the battery life has been solid so far compared to other 4.0 rom's I have tried.

Ya, the cdma version had reboot issue until today's release, but issue was minimal, been on it for a while, by far best with tweaks. Chubbz was awesome battery for a while, but w/o tweaks. You will enjoy.

Most sense 4 roms have been working for while now...the issues were 3d and 4g.

Op. I used Newts Sense 4.0 but I couldn't deal with not having 4g. Since the official release of ICS, I dropped Newts ROM and switched back to a 3.6 ROM (MeanRom 2.6).

Weird, I would get 4G on Sense 4 ROMs.
Only problems for me were 3D, TV out and Wifi Tethering.
