I think watsa was pointing out this is the international S3 forum... ... so none of us need to figure anything out. Our ROMs work with our phone by default
You'd prob get a better and more accurate answer asking in the US variant forum to see if anybody over there has been successful

If you think that's the case flash away .
Why they called a different phone the SGS3 i am puzzled they should have had a special name for it .

Hello! Can anyone confirm if our Note gets the video editor app? I haven't seen it on any of the reviews for our version.

I asked Tim Stevens (Engadget's Editor-in-chief) in their GDGT Q&A after the review went up about it. He confirmed they aren't there and Samsung hasn't said anything about whether or not they will make them available. Hopefully, we can find a way to port them if Samsung never releases them.

Thanks so much for the response! I can deal with the flimsy box. I can deal with the earbuds being removed. I hate the fact that S Pen based apps have been removed, either by Samsung or AT&T. I really hope that someone is able to port them from the international version.
Did you try looking in the Samsung app market to see if it can be downloaded

The US version also doesn't have the same Samsung Note app store as the international version so you can't see it sadly.

I would suggest that you try to find a i9100. But as far as the I9100g, why don't you take a look in their development forum and see if you like any of their stuff

How could anyone who doesn't own either of those phones possibly tell you that ? Have a look at the specs & features of both phones & make your own decision.

Thing is, i777 has it's own forum. So unless someone owns both an i9100 and an i777, then an i777 owner probably isn't going to read this

The point is, you're not bright enough to understand there isn't anyone likely to read this that can give you an honest opinion. Anyone who does give you an opinion is speculating, and if you value someone else's speculative opinion over your own considered research, again, you're clearly none too bright.

I don't own either, and certainly not both (as others have pointed out, the likelihood of you finding such a person is slim), how do I vote?
Maybe a moderator will add "best device" to this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1612881 which really should go without saying in a device's subforum.
One can only hope.

Isn't the same thing, the thing is that KERNELS/ROMS can be obtained for anyone here, phones not, you have to buy it or knowing somebody that have it, so if any of you haven't those phones is ok i'll keep waiting for someone that can help me like the first person that post here. So like i said if anyone can give me a answer to this post why you waste your time answering anything that meybe doesn't help me? (I'm not saying that you did that) Cheers..

The guy who posted from his I9100 in the I9100 forum told you he recommends the I9100? Shocker. Must have been really useful information to you.
Look, I'll make this as clear as I can. Your post asked for people's preference between the phones. That would require someone having owned all three. The chances of finding someone who actually has owned all three of the variants you are inquiring about would be, as oinky stated, slim.
Get whichever one you want, they'll all perform fairly comparably. Just be aware that firmwares and kernels tend not to work between them, so stay within the forum for whichever device you get when looking for such things.

Hi,
I've recently accuired the Samsung Galaxy S2 Plus (GT-i9105P) and I've been looking everywhere for a tutorial on how to root my device, but I've found nothing, mainly because I keep getting tutorial on other models similiar to the Samsung Galaxy S2. So my question is, how do I root the Samsung Galaxy S2 Plus?
Thanks in advance!

You are the first mebmer to ask that.
If it's no big deal, how much did you pay for it?

Yeah, is cheaper. Here they sell it for around 640 dollars.
It's too soon for that device, you might have to wait a couple of more weeks to get some intel regarding that matter.

It might potentially be useful to look at attempts to root the Galaxy Grand (e.g. at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2134216) - that's based on the same Broadcom SoC as the S2 Plus so the software is pretty similar. I think they're not identical enough to flash files designed for one onto the other, but the steps to root it should be the same.

I know the steps already, but the only problem is the firmware. It has been a few week, but no rooted firmware has been released for the Samsung galaxy s II plus (I9105p)

Who here actually has an S2 plus? Can you tell me about your experience with the phone? Any issues or slowdowns?
Hi all i am new here i have rooted and installed many roms on my old galaxy s2 now i also want to root and install a rom on my new galaxy s4.
I am from the UK and i am led to believe that verizon is a american network however i have seen this rom and want to know if i can use it.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=41989203#post41989203
But with it saying verizon i am guessing it is for that network only? This is where i am confused.
so you know exactly what i have, i have a Galaxy S4 on network "3" (UK)
Thanks to anyone who can help me understand a little bit better.
