im having the problem of ghost files or double files appearing in my photo gallery and music players. I know I can clear data in the media storage app but it's really annoying to have to do that everytime. So I wanted to see if I replaced my MediaProvider.apk in the system/apps folder if that would help

Any help would be appreciated.

I'd just freeze phone.apk and dialer tab activity. Shouldn't cause any problems.
If you take your sim card out, he won't be able to make calls right?

Delete android folder from your sd card and reboot.
Sent from my LT26i using Tapatalk 2
didn't work
Sent from my LT26i using xda app-developers app
there are like 400 songs in there but walkman only displays 260
Sent from my LT26i using xda app-developers app
Go to settings, apps, all
Click on Media Storage
Clear Data
The walkman will rebuild the music list, but it will take at least 30 minutes before any songs will show up again, with many files even longer.

I have over 400 (estimated) track ID's stored in my phone. Id like to flash a new rom but im fairly positive i will lose the whole list of songs. Is there anyway to export the list? Is there a text file somewhere that i can copy over or a way to back up then restore it once i flash?
No one can help?
