Can't be removed unless modded out. Or find yourself a new Rom. It's permanent on the Rom your using.

It should be on the panel as stock . Have you looked at the panel and scrolled left to right .

Got it with leomar rom. You should be able to do it with Jk app as well. You need to be rooted tho.

Good thing you asked, using the same subject title. I was just about to ask the same question.
Originally I could not see your attachments either, so had no idea you were talking about the same icon, lol...
BTW I wasn't even aware that was the black clipping test picture as my background, it shows up at total black.. HAHA!
This icon has been changed in the new XXBLFB firmwareto something more obvious

If the USB is connected, it's a bad port.
Try to enable "show touches" from developer options, see if there's more than one circle

You basically have 4 options :
Go back to ICS
Custom Rom (Don't know if those exist)
Import it from ICS... Something with SystemUI.apk is my guess. <- This may not even be possible.
Use a launcher like Nova with ICS theme or something,
Its possible but i dont have the time to do it. It is in Framework-res.apk/anims

Are you talking about this? https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.pvy.batterybar&hl=en
You have to specify a minimum of 2px height or it doesn't show up.
