Hey guysss...is there any way to increase Ram on micromax a56. I heard some ways like swap partition and swap file....how can we do this or is there any other way for doing this.
I request developers and everyone to support us in the development of this phone.

can we use it on a56 safely..its RAM is very low..ican't even minimize NFS Shift it always crashes and i cant play temple run due to low ram.
there is a app called swapper
if ure rooted and have a sd card u may swap on it but its slower than normal ram and it may harm ure sd card

HI can I get an hint about removing or cracking the low memory notifications and inhibit installing new apps whenever I drop under ~200MB of free phone's memory? I believe this must be breakable.. But how? Please don't suggest moving apps to SDcard as Xperia P has very limited storage for SDcard. Any working solution would be highly appreciated!

Of course you can but before that your phone must be rooted and after that these is two ways to go :
1st : install app2sd its a app but before tht you gonna need CWM tocbe flashed in your phone for backups
2: install s2e(app) to move all app to sd and leave the 200Mb free ,but you gonna need CWM too and for CWM you need to root your phone so look for root then CWM then install s2e or app2sd i will give you a link to a v8deo later if you want

Thanks but as I already wrote that's what I can't do coz I'm out of space on SDcard too ((, so a solution to break the low space alerts or lower significantly the low memory level would be much more negotiable.

From what i know you cant add space but you could trick the phone by creating a ext partition to work like space but that from the sd card so you should buy a new sd card someone else i dont know sorry

That's not possible I don't have SDcard slot ( please a workaround how to cheat the phone it must think there's more memory that actually is so it continues working properly even if I go under 200MB.

Yesterday i discovered this pretty amazing app and it's called ram expander. Like the name says it increases your ram. And i think that some people(sola maybe?) can use a little bit more.
But i am a little bit sceptic because from 500mb to 2gb sounds just to good.
I don't have root at the moment but i am sure people wil be interested and will try it out. Share your experiences here :thumbup:

It does not increase your ram, it just makes a swap partition on your SD card.

Yes it does, it uses part of your sd card as ram but it may degrade your sd card

Yeah but swap partition actually is slowing down your phone if you don't have sd card with class 10 and you need kernel suck supports swap partition.

one thing we need to remember is that ram hardware is better than sdcard in terms of its RESPECTIVE PURPOSE....

edit 2 got it back... just set value to 1mb and click optimal value

I think that this program is doing his job. It's lagging when is swaping the memory, and for the first two minutes after the process ends. the only problem is that, the home launcher is lagging sometimes, but apps starts faster and are working pretty well till now. And i forgot to say that the battery drains out just a little bit faster, but is just a small problem.
This app is a fake, after all. My phone was lagging like hell. I tried it on heavy games, but i was disappointed.
I worked on a new ROM for xperia u and i think i did a very good job. Heavy games are working perfect, 120-130% battery life, lots of free ram, improoved download speed and etc, etc. I will post my ROM very son. I will upload later the video proof. Now i will post some photos. And if anyone of you finds out a new amazing app, send me a private message to try out the app, than i will create a post to share it.

Think that your phone is a PC. The only way to have lots of ram on your PC is to buy more ram. Why isn't any program for pc that expands rams?? because there is nothing that can substitute or replace ram. The idea is that: you cannot buy more rams for a phone and all this apps like ram expadnder won't do a thing. (my oppinion)

Does anybody know if this is posible with android? Similar to have windows has turboboost. Like one would get a very fast read/write sd card to add more ram to there phone. I know many phones the internal storage is pretty slow so a high speed microsd would be alot faster than full ram trying to read and write to storage which we have all seen drag extremely.
Im content with the speed of my phone but its always out of ram :\

I don't even mind if it uses the whole SD card. I'd love to find like a 4gb crazy fast card. I don't know exactly what ram swap means. Unless it puts suspended program ram on sd

I need little help. I have rooted my A116. I’m unable to move app in external SD card. I’m using “AppMgr III” and “DS App2SD Lite”. And both apps are showing only phone memory and Internal SD card.
How to I move app in external SD card

Hi,
I did try the swapping process in order to get extended memory. But, in canvas hd i found out that there is another partition called Phone Storage which is not effected even by the swapping of the other two memories.
So my question here is can we swap or increase the phone storage memory with external sd card? Also i would like to understand the memory distribution of Micromax Canvas HD, in order to find a way to increase the phone storage area. Also, i will be googling for these doubts but any help from here would be highly appreciated.

OK just signed up and new to the site so forgive me if I'm posting in the wrong place but my question is this..... I have a rooted Motorola atrix HD LTE 8gig ( which is the problem ) with stock ROM I don't have clockwork mod and I don't ( as far as I know ) have my boot loader unlocked, I use this phone primarily for high data games ex...shadowgun dead zone, dead trigger, real racing 3 and more I have a home computer in which I had a friend recently partition my hard drives so as to boost internal RAM or ROM ( don't know which one but it made it a heck of a lot faster ) but to get to my question I want to use app such as external to internal and utilize my 32 gig external SD as internal memory but I also want to partition a part of it so that my phone never ( for a lack of better words at the moment ) lags or starves for free ROM or RAM??? Can this be done and how? Any help, knowledge,advice or otherwise would be greatly appreciated I would even pay if need be for maybe someone to make a step by step video on how to do this on this make of phone and post on YouTube and send me link I have PayPal!!! If you have rooted phone, then use Force2SD from Play Store. You can push any app to SD Card (except Widgets) without partitioning in one click. Or use Link2SD if you have experience in creating partitions.
Your friend used SWAP for RAM, which is using external memory as part of RAM. Search Google for more help.( SWAP is a bit complicated)

Thanks for the info didn't know about the swap app I have already downloaded external to internal but honestly dont know how to use it yet but can more than likely figure it out with the help of these great forums and youtube and have tried the app2sd and it didnt work for me it says that they have been successfully moved but looking in my settings and memory says otherwise and even double and triple checked with root browser and AVG and no memory was changed now link2sd on the other hand actually moved the app but then I couldn't get any app that I moved to work at all...that's when I figured I would just use the external2internal app that way I could get the apps to work with them on the external SD card tricked into thinking it was internal what I really need help with is the partitioning of the external SD card so I can have more RAM to multitask and play high ram demanding games like I love so I'll deffinatly have to check out the swap app u were referring to and thanks for the help don't know if it helps but here's a screenshot of my build version and kernel in case that's the problem with like the app2sd not working but anyone with know how on the swap app could probably use the help thanks again and have a good one......

OK new problem bought the swap app u were referring to and that would be the solution to my problem if another hadn't arose now I need my bootloader unlocked..... just my luck... and I'll hit the button this time!! Again new to the site!
