[AOKP Milestone 6] Auto-Hide / Toggles problem. (solved) - Optimus One, P500, V General

First off, this place is great. Very helpful, very organized, and just incredible content.
I have been tooling around with ROMs and such for a while now, and this site has always delivered.
I've run into a bit of a problem after i installed quite an amazing ROM. I 'Auto-hid' my toggles, and they seem to have took the opportunity to take a long walk off of a short cliff.
I have searched this forum, and have read long pressing the settings will fix this, unhiding the toggles, resetting the toggles, reboot.. etc.
before i back up and re-flash i was just wondering if this was brought to anyone's attention, or if there is a formal fix?
thank you.
Edit: Whoops. after unchecking the top option to long press/etc. i found pressing the settings icon once brought the toggles back, and was then able to uncheck the auto hide function. :highfive:

Disappearing time

Hi
My clock has just disappeared from the taskbar (navigation bar?) & I don't know why. The signal & volume indicators seem to have moved to where the time was (to the right of the bar) & I no longer have the time.
This seemed to happen after I ran scummvm, not sure if this is just coincidence though. Day of the Tentacle, what a game...
I'm running battery pack pro & when I select show battery & memory meter they appear over the signal & volume now and look really messy. If I also select show time nothing happens, i.e. no time.
Can someone help me get back to my original state with signal & vol in the middle of the bar & time to the right? I've looked through settings & can't seem to find the answer.
Many Thanks
Rich

searched for clock and this was the 4th post
Thank you!! I'm back to normal again.
I searched for time & taskbar, I guess I should have been more persistent.
Many Thanks

Passion v10.6 ICS Questions

Hi, I would post this in the development thread for this rom, but I have less than 10 posts so I cannot.
I have a couple of questions about the ICS Passion v10.6 rom
- Sometimes when I turn the screen on the Wifi icon is either grayed out (lost google connection) or just completely gone (wifi disconnection). Is this because of some kind of sleep policy that I'm not finding, or is it something else?
- The ICS Settings app seems to be lacking many many options based on the options categories you can scroll through. Is there a way to get more options, or is this just space for options in future releases?
- Is there a way to have the screen turn on for a few seconds when there is an incoming text? I currently have the pulse led, which turns on the button lights and leaves them on until the message is checked. I'd much rather prefer the screen being turned on for a few seconds or maybe even allow the led's to be turned off after a period of time.
- Can I add anything to the lockscreen, such as going straight to new sms or switching to vibrate?
- In the messaging app, if I am in a message thread and either hit the back button or the on screen back to messaging button, the home messaging screen will flash and then it will go to the homescreen instead. Is this a known bug or some option I missed?
Thanks for taking the time to look at and hopefully answer any of my questions! Sorry if some have been asked before, I've searched through the forums and couldnt find answers to these.

How do I back out of app manager?

It seeems as if the more I play and the more I learn, the more questions I have. Now I have a new one.
How do I back out of an application manager?!
Whenever I pull up an application manager, I see a list of apps. If I select one, I'm taken to a black screen that gives me lots of details on the app in question, it shows the permissions and there are several buttons for Force Stop, Clear Defaults, etc. Once I'm there though, if I decide to do nothing, there's no way to get back. There's no back button or return button. There's a Cancel button but it doesn't seem to do anything. The "n" button doesn't help. I see no way short of a reboot to get off of this screen.
Help!
Thanks.
- Byron
I can tell you have the stock status bar, and also that you haven't read my FAQ:
When the Back button isn't there, a swipe from right to left on the status does the job (this will work if you keep the stock Status Bar)
The above you can find in my FAQ.
Now, if you want to use a custom status bar then you have some options, check out the EYE CANDY TWEAKS in my FAQ so you have a better idea of what am i talking about.

Thanks much. Heading to your FAQ now...

Lost pull down quick setting after Marshmallow

Right guys, I updated my Nexus 9 last night to Marshmallow. Everything was working great. I even enabled system UI tuner.
Now for some reason today, I have lost my quick setting pulldown from the top of my screen.
When I pull down down all I get the time and date batt and wifi symbol but no setting beyond that.
Also my home button seems to have a mind as it's own also, press it sometimes and it takes me back, other times I have to press my tab button and swipe programs away to get back to my home screen.
Searched and searched the web for answers, can't find any.
Anybody help?
Think I've answered my own question, I swapped user to guest. And it was back.
Switched back again to my profile and it worked, I think a program I had running was causing it to stop...
where can i find system ui tuner?
Sent from my Nexus 9 using Tapatalk
If you have marshmallow hold down the gog on your pull down menu from top. It will start to spin then it will enable system UI tuner...

Navigation bar there, but no buttons

I received the s9+ (at&t) the other day. It worked fine for an hour or two, then the buttons(home, recent, back) disappeared. I still have the navigation bar at the bottom.
I have tried changing all the settings in the navigation bar settings, but the buttons will still not show up. I can even change the colors of the bar, but no buttons.
I can use the home button even though it does not appear. In order to use recent or back, I must quickly press the home button and slide my finger left or right to push either button. This does not work reliably and usually just takes me home.
It is almost as if this is supposed to be an option, but I've found no way to turn it off. Why else would I be able to press and slide to use the buttons?
Contacted Samsung support and after an hour of troubleshooting, they suggested I take it 100 miles to a repair center. I feel this is a software issue that should be patched immediately and shouldn't have to drive my phone or wait to get a replacement phone that may have the same issue.
Any advice would be great!
New to the forums so I can't post an image
I assume you've rebooted the phone, but if not start with that. If that doesn't do it, you might try booting into recovery and clearing cache.
Samsung had me try both. Didn't fix it unfortunately.
I am having this exact same issue. I have attached some screenshots. I changed launchers but it's like that on all apps. It's real bad on some apps such as gmail and the play store because the navigation bar is black and takes up a lot larger space. I've tried everything in the navigation settings. I then went to settings-general management- reset- and reset settings. That didn't help. I was going to factory reset but I didn't want to fully set it up again unless I had to. What other options have you tried? I have the unlocked s9+ on verizon.

At this point we are at the mercy of someone to patch. I have read on other forums that it may be related to corporate software loaded on your phone for work. They have uninstalled and it worked.
I have software for work as well but haven't tried uninstalling to test their theory but, I hope someone gets it figured out.
The issue was Airwatch. https://forums.androidcentral.com/a...-my-new-s9-my-navigation-bar-disappeared.html
Airwatch it is then. Let me know if you get a fix, I'm going to be calling my support department as well as soon as I can.
