BT Thumb Keyboard

I'm looking for a small thumb-like bt keyboard. I know there are many folded ones, but they are all to big. Coming from Kaiser i miss thumb-typing, so i'm in need of something similar. Logitech dinovo mini is way to expencive and still to big to carry around. I found some, but don't know if they will work. If anyone has some idea if this can work on HD or does know thumb-like keyboard, please share.
Old one, but it looks great

Have you also explore alternative soft keyboards like Resco or SBP:

I also used to have a Touch Pro and a Tytn II and was a thumb typist on both. But, now I'm happy with JUST the HD and now keyboard.
i use soft keybrds for fast input, but when typing long emails it's much faster to type with hw keyboard. I even make less typos with it.
i suppose the only problem is with device driver, so what kind of BT chip does HD have? Some of this thumb keyboards allready have wm support (of some sort) and support Bluesoil.
I dont know much of this, so i could be way off. Even so, i think this would be good adition.
tnx
could be used for games?

Logitech MetroFi 170vi and Xperia X10 compatible?

Easy question:
can anyone confirm me, that the Logitech MetroFi 170vi (http://www.logitech.com/de-de/speakers-audio/earphones/devices/5651) Headset is compatible to the Xperia X10? Didn't find anything on the internet except for some online-shop compability lists, but I don't really trust them..
No, they are not compatible with the x10...i had bought them too from a webshop and its not working, only compatible with iphone and blackberry says the info on the box..
what a pity thanks, though.

Bluetooth Keyboard?

Does anyone know of a bluetooth keyboard that works with their folio 100? I've been looking at the ones from Freedom, but it seems that the drivers are only beta.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated
The Logitech diNovo Edge works perfect on Folio 100 with FolioMod v1.4
Cheers
Apple ..
The Bluetooth Keyboard works like a chram, though if you like to use the numeric Keypad it lacks some Functions.
The Trackpad as PointDevice should also be working if you install Support for Pointing Devices. Dunno wich App you might be using but there are several.
*self-edit*
If the Keyboard puts out weird Chars once connected you should try pressing [fn]+ [f6] cos thats like on a Notebook Keypad if the blue Numeric Part is active.
can you use the keyboard from apple on the folio? or on any android tablet or phone? can you use this keyboard on a windows computer?
I use the Microsoft Bluetooth® Mobile Keyboard 6000. It works great.

necro post but the logitech tablet keyboard for iPad work like a charm better quality than microsoft keyboard and more compact plus it come with a sleeve that can be used as stand for the folio with 2 position. (also it is swiss no matter what its allways quality *nono im not saying that because im swiss )
cons: its a lil heavy for that size (hu who care in fact xD )
also all the blue fn secondary button function are working perfectly.
the retailer was going mad saying "nananah its for iPad and iPad only not for worth nothing toshicrap tab" i was about to punch him but i said "did apple put a patente on bluetooth? nope so they cant lock that product for the iPad only, so it will works on my Folio aswell" i understand he was meaning iPad roxx andropad suckzzz but failled to argue with me in the end... we all Know only some chinese copy sucks *iPad or andropad copy*
man ... i really love fanboy and their non objective opinion...
sent from my folio100 using XDA Premium HD app
I use Trust 17809. I have remaped the layout for to have the good letters in the right place. Originally it's for iPad.
Hi ! I bought a simple bluetooth keyboard and checked youtube for instructions to make it work. It works with AAA batteries and it's quite cheap (20 euros maybe or less)

[Q] ICS keyboard/mouse recommendations?

I am hoping some of you fellow tablet owners out there could help me out. ^-^
I'm looking to buy a keyboard and mouse for my Ice Cream Sammiched tablet, but I just want to be sure I don't waste my money. I plan on using them for my PC as well so I won't be buying Android specific accessories.
I have a couple items in mind already, but I'm open to anything that you guys personally recommend as long as it works.
Could anyone confirm if the Apple Magic Mouse and Bluetooth wireless keyboard work?
I could probably pull off building a kernel if the repo is open just to try some drivers that I've seen around...but honestly I haven't looked at any of that stuff for the Tab 10.1.
If the Magic Mouse is a no go then I was looking at this Logitech mouse.
And if anyone has any alternative suggestions to the Apple keyboard that work with ICS I'm also open to those.
If it's not too much to ask I'm also interested in knowing what doesn't work on mice and keyboards.
Thanks!

Best out-of-the-box controller?

As far as I'm aware this isn't a duplicate thread, because all the gamepad-related threads I can find are about using existing controllers with the NP. I don't own one.
The official gamepad is sold out everywhere but eBay, for which I would have trust issues, and I don't know that an Xbox 360 controller is the best option for someone who doesn't already own it. I'd be getting a $50 controller with a $20 receiver, the official version of which I can't find from any Canadian retailer, and I'm getting mixed opinions on how well that setup even works.
So I'm wondering if there's a third party controller I'm missing. Bluetooth preferred, though I have an OTG adapter if needed. Or maybe the 360 is my best option, in which case I'd like to know if anyone's tried any of the plethora of third-party wireless receivers on Canadian Amazon. I once bought a crappy OTG cable based on user reviews that barely worked and eventually broke, and now I'm leery of accessories that aren't from a known brand.
I'm using the steelseries stratus xl and i love it best android controller out there, works for every game and you don't need to mess with the button layout all the time.
Woot's got the official controller for $30 shipped: http://sellout.woot.com/plus/asus-gaming-controller-1?ref=w_gh_so_11_wp_1
Prior to receiving replies, I ended up ordering the Tronsmart Mars G01 despite knowing little about it, because it was a cheaper option yet specifically claimed to support Android TV. It's not Bluetooth but it comes with its own wireless dongle. I haven't tried enough Play Store games to definitively state whether it's an out-of-the-box replacement for the Asus gamepad, but thus far it seems to get the job done.
And I really hope I don't have a compatibility issue with any one game, because if I do, I'll be scouring their website for a "game controller app" that I can't find for the life of me, nor would I particularly want a random proprietary apk file that requests root access. But hey, I haven't needed it so far.
This is what i'm using http://www.8bitdo.com/nes30pro/ works great, I have a spare 120GB SSD hooked up that I use as adopted storage and have tons of console/arcade emulators set up on the device I also have all the zen pinball tables I own installed (though some have to be installed through the play store website, I also use ARC Browser to sort and manage all of my roms and act as a launcher for apps that don't have proper android TV icons, I also have messed around with some native apps such as soul calibur and Minecraft and it works great for all of them, the build quality is good and feels very much like an NES/SNES controller, battery life is decent as well. there is an app for mapping controls on games that do not support it but I have not tried it on the nexus player yet.
