Have a look at Chainfire's thread => http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1103399&highlight=CF+Root
In post #7 you can find CF-Root kernel for XW_XEF_KJ2.
That will do the job for you.

Hang in there it's not bricked...yet . Flash a Rom or kernel for your device.
Looks like you have the I9100G which is different to the I9100.
Take a look around at the threads for the I9100G.

You can probably get back to a working state with [KERNEL][I9100G][2.3.5]MyGKernel - CWM5, Root, CIFS, if you do have an I9100G.

Dont flash I9100 kernal on I9100G device. Check the forum for the correct KErnal for I9100G. You should be fine, no need to panic.

My first thought seeing your post was "won't that brick his phone?"....

If you attempt to root a I9100G with a I9100 CFRoot kernel you'll brick your phone. Try this thread.

if you can enter to download mode, just got into odin use pda file kernel from unsecure same version of your old one, and that should work.
i have the same problem than you and with insecure kernel my phone is back. thankssssssssssssssssssss

i have this Korean Galaxy S2
few questions to ask the experts ...
1: am i on the latest Stock Korean Firmware ?
2: can i flash any official/stock Firmware of GT-i9100 using Odin ? like using the .pit file then the PDA then the phone and modem ... all together 4 files ?
3: after that ... can i ROOT my phone normally ? i mean like standard procedure ? i mean using Odin or other methods like superoneclick or CWM etc ?
if i flash stock firmware of GT-i9100 via Odin ... and root it ... do i still face that boot loop problem ? and then have to install the original stock korean KERNEL ??
since there is no chance that i would be using my phone in korea .. so is it fine to have a stock firmware of i9100 ??
and after root .. can i install KERNELs of my own choice .. for e.g semaphone , speedmod , galaxian etc etc ???

Flash any kernel from original development section, then your mobile will be rooted. If you want stock kernel with root then flash CF-Root, make sure you choose correct version which has xxlpq.
That is very old ICS firmware better try some other ICs firmware like LPG

Actually official Indian release is XWLP7 not XXLPQ. It is available over at sammobile. LP7 is much better than LPQ.

in ur Build no. its 'LP9' which is important find one that matches it for I9100g
the one in the link below will help u , since there r no Cf-root kernel's that match for I9100g for now if i am right, only the derivatives as the one in the link

He has the I9100G variant. He should NOT be looking in Original Android Development. Rather, he should be looking in the I9100G Development section.
Kernels/firmwares/ROMs are not compatible between I9100G and I9100.

You asked for a link for 4.0.4, but your ROM details is 4.0.3, what else do you want?
That same method will root any ICS firmware, including 4.0.4
