MD5 mismatch! error - AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note I717

Now i know this problem is pretty common, however most methods require deleting or editing the nandroid.md5 file. My particular backup does not seem to contain the file (i suppose this is why the mismatch is occuring). I havent edited any of the contents what-so-ever, so i dont know why CWM did not make make the file. Does anyway know a work around to fix for this?

Okay I was able to restore the nandroid.md5 via terminal emulator, however when the backup restored it was buggy and missing apps, ect. Anyone have any help at all?
I have many thanks waiting to be received

If the apps are from the market why not reset, then go get your apps?
Another possibility: qhen I've had a crappy restore, I restored a second time and things went smoother.
I would try that, but I would be ready to reset and visit the market.

So I'm not sure when or how it happened, but when I look in OSH partition with root explorer, I get a big fat nothing. No bytes, no files. I have show hidden files on. I made a backup when I first unlocked with osh on it, and will attempt to backup with osh tonight, which should show if there's anything to backup. Can someone tell me if I'm hosed? I don't own a lapdock, so I have no way to test at the moment. I'm on cm9 if that matters.

I'm on cm9 and I see the same. Not sure if its a permissions thing to view, but its no biggie because you have to flash a blur rom to run webtop.

Thanks. Glad to know I'm alright if I ever but a lapdock.

.swf file downloading without known instruction

I noticed a file was downloaded to my Samsung Galaxy S2 whilst the phone wasn't in use with the screen off and locked. I've attached a screenshot of the download to show the file name hoping it might mean something to someone.

The same file was downloaded again approximately ten minutes later, again without instruction.
I then ran AVG which didn't identify anything (the Settings Security Issue is having USB Debugging switched on)
I recently restored my applications using Titanium Back Up after flashing a new ROM.
Noticed the images were unavailable. They should be visible now.
maybe an app in background downloaded it? maybe you also restored the "malware" with your backup. try a different scanner, if nothing helps -> hard reset without ti backup

did you install custom phonebook.apk? (ex. Xperia S apps)
1. if yes, try to install the original phonebook.apk manually and open it. (do not import contacts cause you contacts are still there)
2. then install back the custom phonebook.apk manually.
In my case, it solved the problem.
It just means that the process has had to stop, it must be linked into your applications. I get a similar issue on some of the bloatware.
Yep, quick google shows it as syncing issues, try clearing data on contact storage remember to backup first as it'll probably delete your numbers etc.

[Q] Re install S-planner

How do I re install S planner from Titanium backup?
I have a rooted Galaxy S3. The S planner and Smemo apps corrupted when upgrading to 4.1.2. I ran a full system TB back up immediately after upgrading which saved the corrupted Splanner. I uninstalled the app from the phone and replaced them in the TB backup folder with the files done before the upgrade. But TB does not see the older version in the restore menu. I have refreshed and run TB " replace all missing apps and system data". But since TB doesn't recognize or see the replaced apps, it's not installing the backup. The files are clearly there and can be seen with explorer. How do I fix this?
Thanks for any help you can provide,
Noob

Question Pixel6 will not restore backup of APPS from Google 1

I recently did a reset on my Pixel 6. When I signed into my Google account, it would not restore from the backup (though it is there), saying something to the affect that there were no backups. Now, Google Drive shows 2 backups for the phone. 1 from immediately before the wipe, and the new one it has made. Is there a way to restore the backup I made immediately before the wipe? Somehow, Google does not think it is associated with this phone, but it is.
