I'll be glad to press the thanks button(even if it doesn't work) only if I could understand what it meant.
From Google Play:
Description
This background service allows you to light on or off your device by proximity sensor. You just cover and release the sensor by finger, to switch your device's screen on and off.
Please activates the LightLock by "Setting" > "Location & security" > "Select device admin", and remember to inactivates it before uninstall it.
Use it and watch your battery drain fast
Now why would someone want anything like that.Unless your power button stops working.
How could you dont need it if you cant boot the phone without it
Actually you can boot phone without power button if you have 2nd init, plug in charger and wait for blue led and enter bootmenu, select boot, 2nd init.
LightLock kills your battery™

No way to disable the capacitive keys on demand..though you can permanently disable them by activating the on screen navigation buttons

hello,
I'm running android 4.4.2 gummy rom with jbx kernel and i have the option to use the onscreen navigation buttons instead of the ones that are already on the phone. The problem is i can not find a way to disable the buttons or even turn the lights off on them so they stop glowing every tie i use my phone. Does anyone know how I can do that there is no option in settings that I could find to turn off the lights.
Download Keyboard backlight controller app from play store.
Alternatively, if your are using xposed, Gravity box module has that setting.

Hit thanx if someone has helped you.
Hey, has anyone noticed you can a double press on the power button turn on the flashlight, but for the long press that option isn't there?
Is there a way around that? maybe a flashlight app that can work as a shortcut? tried a few but still no luck.
also can someone confirm if the android 13 beta has the same problem?
Yeah I just use a flashlight toggle app (Icon Torch - Flashlight), I'm sure any other toggle app would work too.
thank you!
