Headphone Volume Sensitivity - Galaxy S II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Apologies if this has been posted and answered previously. I have been having this annoying problem with the volume sensitivity on my phone. When listening to music, when I adjust the volume rocker, the sound output is either too low or too high. I want something in between. I.e. when I click the volume rocker just once, the change in volume is too much! Is there a way to make it less sensitive? Does anyone else have this issue?
My phone has installed turkbey rom gingerbread v37 with 2.6.35.14-N.E.A.K-1.3.3x kernel. Android version is 2.3.6.
Any help here would be greatly appreciated

[Q] In-call volume CM7

Hello,
I flashed JT's CM7 (Test build 7) yesterday, and I absolutely love it.
However, I have a problem involving In-call volume.
If I press the up and down volume buttons to adjust in-call volume, the volume stays the same although the graphic indicator bar moves.
For all the other volume settings (like media volume, alarm volume, etc) seem to be OK.
Am I the only one who's experiencing this problem? =(
Can anybody please help me to fix this issue?
Thanks in advance.

Yes, everyone is having that problem. It is a problem with the libaudio driver. It was a hacked driver from the nexus s that was hacked even more on top of that just to get it to the level of functionality that it has now. When jt has some time, I'm sure he will rewrite libaudio and the volume issue will be improved.

But i just wanted to clarify an issue ive seen in JB roms.
One the volume for headset is not that high...
Second the media volume does not increase incrementally ... even in the volume rocker as it is displayed... i think it stays at max 60%
Is this an issue with all JB roms???
i tried searching the forums but did not get an answer. and why is it that ICS roms sound better with Headphones than JB roms?

if u use 'Siyah or Dorimanx' kernel's then U can boost ur head phone volume thro 'Xtweak' app
When I played music with Poweramp (I have DVC enabled), the problem fixed temporarily.
It's known issue in CM10, nothing to worry about.
If the volume rocker is like this:
|-------O____|
and above, then it's 100%.
I can't vouch for JB but I am on ICS with CM9 and found that headphone volume was poor, I downloaded an app called 'Voodoo LOUDER' which allows you to increase the volume slightly, you need to be rooted but it was worth every penny

now its ok, problem fixed, just installed latest jkay deluxe settings and my problem was solved. before its like this: example the notification volume is just 1 /10, when i adjust the ringing or media volume via volume keys, notification volume increases, regardless of adjusting the ringing volume down, notification volume still goes up.

[Q] Is there a way to change volume steps? (too loud or too low)

Is there a way for the volume up/down buttons to (in/de)crease the volume by smaller ammounts?
I find that, in my headphones, volume is either too low or too loud, I'd wish for a 'half-click' so to speak. (running CM10.2)
Thank you
Hmmm... seems Pocket Casts is the problem. An mp3 will respect the DSP settings from CM10.2, thus allowing me to raise volume by small increment.
But Pocket Casts won't respect DSP. Has anyone seen this problem?

Boosting In-Call Volume

Hi Guys,
anyone know what apps can be use to boost in-call volume on P780?, currently i'm on stock kitkat and the in-call volume is terrible in the outdoor environment, already max out the volume rocker, still barely hear anything
