Does anybody know if Acro S requires a micro-simcard or supports normal simcard?
I've read both and are a bit confused about this...

It works fine I use it all the time. Make auee mhl adapter is plugged into USB power for it to work.

I couldn't tell you, all over the adapters I got barely work it might be easier to just get the official samsung one

I'd say just buy a cheapo on eBay. I did so I could add a line and transfer upgrade got an old school moto rzr for cheap like 15

Why does it have to be LTE? You can go back to 3g for awhile and then just get a sim when you get it back... No need for LTE.

When I had to get my Bionic sent in I just bought a dumb phone for awhile. Just need to get a new sim when you get it back.
When you open the interchangeable cap, then flip the phone around, you can see some sort of port . What is that hardware for ?

One is for the Mic.!
But the other one is for thread or a hand cuff or mobile holder... So that u can hang it to ur neck...& reducing the risk of phone getting forgotten stolen or dropping accidentally..!
