I'm running a aokp rom. I had the same issue with my bionic. Is there a way to reduce the lag when switching home screens?

Have you tried a different launcher? I use apex, but there's a lot if good choices

Widgetlocker seems to be snappier than the stock moto lockscreen, and is highly customizable.
Its a paid app, but I think its worth it. You can also wake the device with any of the hardware buttons which is nice.

WOW! THank man.. this is stellar. Benefits to paid version over free? I love that it goes landscape.
Everytime I record a video in portrait mode out records sideways. anyway to make the phone (xt912) record in portrait without it being sideways???

Not sure if you can do that.... maybe try enabling auto-rotate screen in display settings?
Are you on ICS or the JB leak? Because I'm on the JB leak and it records the video in whatever orientation the phone is in when it first starts recording.

I'm on stock ics. But i just downloaded camera ics+ and now the camcorder orientation works ok. Stock one doesn't.

I have tried side loading but i use apps like instagram and thats not supported. If i side load that app. They will say i need to update that through play store. Same with other apps
