I need a cpu control app which has per app settings eg at the time when I'll launch a game that app will increase cpu frequency and after closing back to normal!, i have tried cpu master pro but it lacks this feature
If there is something like this available then please suggest me
Thanks in advance!

SetCPU? Don't have it handy atm, but I'm 90ish% sure that you can make profiles based on running apps

Setcpu is the best app for controlling CPU and alternatively you can also try system tuner
In setcpu u can set profiles and choose what app to run

Really! How?
Edit: Oh, I see what you mean, but the free version is old and doesn't have the app profiles. I just bought setcpu and confirm the per-app profiles work wonderfully.

Hello!
I'm currently looking for an app that allows me to view system info, preferably as a widget, like temperatures, cpu usage, network in/out etc.
Anyone know of an app like this?

Thanks, but not what I'm looking for. I prefer a widget, cool tool was just rather annoying blocking the view of the top-bar

Search Google Play & try a bunch of free version of apps until you find one that has what you want. That's what the rest of us did/do.
I have read that this is possible, and exists, can someone share me some info?
Thanks

Check out CPU Sleeper app in the Google Play store.
This is very controversial app.
Better see if your tab goes to deep sleep when not in use and if it does that CPU sleeper would make it worse.
PS: the author got dozen threads, read some of them to get an idea.
I saw couples of people here that says that they limit the apps that running in the backround, how do I do that?
Thanks for all the helpers!

There's a root toolbox on the market. I think there's an feature where you can limit how many apps to run.

Xperia stock FW users can't disable auto-running apps coz apps like auto-starts doesn't show any receivers! So a lot of apps are uselessly running ; feeding on memory and battery, thus degrading performance and battery life!
Is there any working alternative to autostarts? If not, can anyone develop such app?
Thankyou!

I actually ended up using Android Tuner, that seems to work just fine, but thanks for the tip!
