I remember when WIMAX first rolled out, i looked at the coverage map and noticed when i zoomed in that there was supposed to be full coverage except crappy san bruno...i'm i'm hoping they do a better job with LTE this time around =P

Anyone in SF PROPER getting LTE? I'm coming home next weekend and I hope there is LTE. 3G in SF proper has always drained my battery to zilch in no time. WOOHOOO YAY AREAAAAA

I was sitting in Dunkin' Donuts yesterday morning and decided to run a speed test on my new Note. Granted, I was very close to a tower and I had full bars, I was blown away with my results.

yeah I'm in Houston too, and this LTE speed is sicker than hell, blows away my HSPA+ tmobile speed.

That's amazing. I'm happy with anything over 5M!

My LTE is on in St Louis MO now. Very cool. I'm at 11 mbps down. That's equal to my wifi here at home.

Okay well for one, your icon at the top says LTE. and for two the upload speed. THE ONLY TIME upload is even near that speed on hspa is in SMALL towns. Big citys ive never seen anything passed 1mb down or a half a meg. u are on LTE

Yep. It seems I'm actually on the fringes of it. A friend of mine says he got a stronger signal on 37th ave on the dolphin. Like 30 megs down stronger lol
Wow, that's not bad for initial testing. That area is even closer to me so I might go fishing around for some LTE later.

I noticed I don't get LTE signal anymore. Chances are like I said they were testing for deployment.
AT&T supposedly going to turn on LTE on roughly 150 towers from Jupiter,FL and south. They turned on LTE at new Marlins stadium opening day.

S4GRU has posted and updated LTE schedule for sites going live in May. NYC/NJ, and other areas are about tro go live....as I have said the LOS and dropped calls recently picking up probably is related to NV. In January in some places I got 1MB up, and down loading on 3G.
This is for all of you whiners complaining that Sprint won't have LTE up any time soon. This is also for some of you would be getting that EVO 4GLTE early....don't fret you will be vindicated. BTW you guys that went to Verizon, and are losing your unlimited data....here's mud in your eyes.ROFL....Just kidding come on over the speeds are just fine lol

Hope this is right!! I'll have LTE where I live right outside Atlanta even though Wimax could never make it to me. My girlfriend has full Verizon LTE bars at my house so having Sprint LTE there too will be awesome!! Just hope that Sprint LTE speeds are as good as Verizon here....

Yeah, strange KC north doesn't have as much. According the KC Star, Sprint will be upgrading that area soon.

Under mobile network in settings, make sure you have it set to cdma AND LTE. that is all you need to do I believe. Then when your phone can find the signal it'll display 4g in the top bar.

It's says "CDMA - eHRPD" which I guess is the same? How do you change it if that is wrong?
Man that map shows Lewisville covered all around with LTE! My upgrade needs to hurry.
You were under About phone-network. Look right under bluetooth in the wireless settings group at top. You should see Mobile Network. Under there you will see cdma/LTE option.

Considering that Kansas City is Sprint's headquarters, I find it pretty pathetic that their entire metropolitan area isn't completely covered. They should take care of their home market first IMO.

I'm gonna be moving back to STL this coming week sadly and it just popped up here in ATL. I'm hella sad I'm leaving it and pray that it reaches there soon
I called sprint to complain about network issues and was told that they are upgrading the towers. He said it should be done on Oct 17th. So I guess that confirms it for me

Sometimes companies tell you what you want to hear to silence you. Are they working on towers? Yes. Will it roll out in October for NYC? Probably not.
Just like my ISP telling me I'm having slow speeds because of a "regional Internet problem" with THE internet. Yeah right. -_-

FYI.. Yesterday while having my lunch outside enjoying the not so nice humidity I noticed the 4G icon pop up a couple times briefly. Looks like things should be lighting up soon.

With the launch of LTE, DFW was on the list of having LTE. Phone never connected to LTE. After serveral phone calls, I was told the same thing, that the networks where being upgraded and scheduled to be completed in December. I see LTE every now and then now, but not long enough to get any use out of it. Speed Test showed it to be slower than 3G when I was able to connect. I got credit for 4 months (AUG -NOV) until LTE is fully up and running.

how do you know that it will be live in 2 weeks?
If Sprint gave you an exact date, and especially from a representative over the phone, they're definitely lying to you.
While I seriously doubt that's the date, I sure hope it is. I am sick of slower than dialup speeds on 3G and constant weak signal.
NYC and several other major cities have been announced to go live within the next several months, which means NYC can get it earlier than scheduled.....Finally able to use phone to the fullest
Has anyone in the NYC area gotten LTE signals yet? Wonder if they will test it before going live.
