Did you flash a custom recovry, such as CWM? From what I've learned here, the rolling recovery is usually
caused by using the wrong CWM.
For the Galaxy Tab 10.1, retail wifi model (7510), CWM version 5.5.0.4 usually recommended to prevent
rolling recovey.

The problem still on, , any one have a solution please.?
Wish I could help you dody, but I'm a noob at this.
I can tell you that the CWM 5.5.0.4 file and the Root file I used worked fine on my tab (7510, US, retail, wifi only).
I have them stored in my Drop Box if you'd like to try them.
Hmmm youtube link should post that so we have a idea what you have done.
There lots of posts here on this subject.
You have choices depends on what want to do like root, custom Rom or reflash a stock Rom.
See http://droidbasement.com/db-blog/
Recovery – ClockworkMod 5.5.0.4 – Galaxy Tab 10.1
Or for stock see http://www.sammobile.com/firmware/
Or search and read lots
See my post that I had same issue http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=29624575&postcount=57

Not too sure on that... if the recovery is not compatible it can really brick your phone. Brick as in you won't even be able to boot to download mode.
Just use the cwm provided here, it's safer.
I downloaded and installed Clockwork Mod Recovery from here but still when I try to Download Rom from Rom Manager. It ask me to install ClockworkMod Recovery.

What about for the Samsung Captivate?
What about for the Captivate? I recently rooted my phone and downloaded the ROM Manager. Flash ClockworkMod Recovery won't detect my phone under "Confirm Phone Model" I have the Samsung Captivate. One of the options is the Samsung GalaxyS i9000. Will that work? What should I do?

I know how to root my device by odin, first recovery-cwm_4.0.0.4-sam-tab-10.1.tar.md5,then Samsung_Galaxy_Tab_10.1_root.zip.
So,my question is how to unroot my p7510 so that it act as a new one?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1171089
Thank you for your advice.
in fact,i had read that aritcle carefully:
“UNROOTING & RESTORING STOCK RECOVERY
1. Using CWM Flash the stock rom for your device. This unroots your device and basically makes it like a brand new tablet.
2. Use Odin to flash the stock recovery from the filesfordummies.zip.
3. Done, your device is exactly how it was when you picked it up. ”

but i still don't know what CWM is,and is it just an app?
and in the step 2,i don't know where to get filesfordummies.zip.
I want to unroot my tab also. I followed the instroctions and I downloaded a stock rom from Samfirmware.com. How I can flash it with Clockworkmod?

Can someone help me? How can I flash the stock rom with CWM?
i used the instructions in the post that is referenced to unroot. then i had numerous force close. sammy phone support suggested factory reset. i did that and it took me back to out of the box. it then did the minor update to UEKG4, but it won't recognize the TW update. They are wanting me to send it in, but I know it is something with software and I should be able to fix it.
No signs of SU, can't figure out why it won't recognize TW update. Thinking about going back to CWM Recovery to see if there are some advanced options that could help.
Hey ANthesca, I'm having the same problem. It looks like the custom stock rom we went back to is the I/O version, and that version never got the touchwiz update. This is my guess as to why we can't update to touchwiz, I'm pulling my hair out trying to find the official USA Stock rom for my tablet

I tried searching the forum, found a lot of useful information but need to know my options are like which ROM is better / more stable etc and which one works in my case. Also I would like to know which option is best for me because I just bought a phone which I think is already rooted.
Please see the attached picture of my phone.
I just need advise so that I don't end up installing something in-compatible or something and end up bricking my phone.
Please advise or guide me in a right direction which steps or tutorial to follow to install jelly bean 4.1.1 on my i9100 ?

You're on siyah kernel. If you wish to keep your current kernel, you can install a cm10 rom released before 02 oct or JB ROM that hasn't used the latest mali drivers since siyah hasn't incorporated those yet.
The good news is you won't hard brick your phone..siyah is a safe kernel.
Look around the various ROM threads in the android development section, see if one catches your fancy and enquire if its compatible with siyah..since recommending ROMs goes against forum rules.
Also, most ROMs will include a kernel installation while installing them. Long story short, if you aren't insistent on keeping your current kernel you can flash pretty much any JB ROM built for the i9100. Be careful not to install any ROM for a different variant of the phone.
If you have any questions you can ask here or feel free to PM me.

Thanks..
I know it totally depends on personal preference but I just need advise, is this siyah ? is this good ? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1798266

Siyah isn't a ROM, its a kernel. What you've posted are both ROMs. The first will run on your current kernel, the second will install the CM kernel. So you can try either one of the two. Look through at least the last couple of pages and see what others think on both forums. That might give you a better idea if its right for you. Else you can always flash the other one.
Good luck!

So based on the step to go in to recovery mode:
"Reboot into CWM Recovery mode by pressing Vol Up + Home + Power button (Release only power button when you see Samsung logo)"
I am doing this but I only see samsung logo with i9100 and it goes away then comes back in 5 sec then goes and comes back again... tried several time but cannot go into recovery mode, why ?
Update: I have successfully installed the Jelly Bean 4.1.1 on i9100: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1798266

Are you sure your flashing the right ROM for your device? Bare in mind that you've got an I9100G phone.
I refuse to help on the basis you cant be bothered to use a real topic title.

Topic titles should be descriptive not silly generic ones like "hlp plz" that dont tell people browsing forum anything about topic.
To grab stock sammy firmwares for your device you can get them via http://www.sammobile.com/firmware/.
Just put the main rom file in PDA section of ODIN and flash it. Then go back into download mode and flash custom kernel, again via ODIN.
Or to get custom ones....

Good luck with that.
I recently purchased a galaxy A20 "SM-A205G", and i have found it to be an excellent budget phone!
But i have found out that there are no twrp images to flash to the A20 and its disappointing, and with more research i have found that the A10 and A30 also do not have any signs of twrp images available to them, and i wanted to know if it is just because its not possible to flash to them, or maybe the phone is not popular enough?
Like i said the A20 Is an amazing device, and it does suck to not have the ability to have custom recovery, and i would imagine their are some A10 and A30 users thinking the same thing!
If their are recovery images im not aware of it would also be nice to see links to those
It would be really cool to see such things on a phone of the price point that is so good!
Thank you for taking the time and reading this
Yes has anyone got twrp customs recovery installed on the galaxy A20 (SM-A205yn) yet?
Yes has anyone got twrp customs recovery installed on the galaxy A20 (SM-A205yn) yet? Let alone a custom rom. I got the bootloader unlocked... no info about progressing to twrp found... is A20 same as A30... read that somewhere.
Where is the best place to find all the info about A20 and how to build a trwp for A20... nobody has done it yet... not fair we cant root and custom rom this phone!!! Anyone tried a different twrp and got it to work?

So, is the img TWRP file for A20 useless?
I'm sorry, I was angry in that time, what happened was that my phone got a bootloop with a locked bootloader, which means that I couldn't access the recovery nor boot the system. I've waited until the battery runs out and then I tried turning it on in download mode. Otherwise if that didn't work I would throw my phone away.

I had a similar problem trying to flash that afaneh92 TWRP, also solved by draining the battery.
But I had to flash agrim's image.
Details here:
androidSO
My boot was patched by magisk, device rooted, I also flashed vbmeta.img.
I suppose the problem was that it is a U3 boot device (November 2019).
The state before TWRP working was the dowload screen:
