[Q] Does anyone has an issue with hardware keyboard and Chrome? - Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime

I have an issue with hardware keyboard and Google Chrome browser. When I typed in English on Chrome it's working fine, but when I'm switching to another language (in my case is Thai), I cannot type anything on Chrome.
I searched everywhere and submitted this issue to Google Chrome support, but I've got nothing.
Does anyone got this issue like me? It would be great if you have a resolved for this. It is very annoying.

How do I download from ASUS web site?

So I use the default ICS browser to navigate to the support section of the ASUS web site and I want to download a PDF manual. Tapping the usual link I'd use on my PC yields no useful response. So, what to do?
Thanks,
Bye.

I had the same problem trying to download the ICS-update. Don't understand how Asus can have such a crazy setup so that their own products can't download from their webpage!
Anyway, I solved it by using Opera Mobile, then I could click the links on the Asus website.
Thanks for the suggestion. Yes, it is kind of weird that their web browser does not fully work on their support web site.
Bye.

laptop/desktop are still the largest user base for web.
it won't be so soon till they are "tabletnised"
also some flash sites typing they do not prompt the softkeyboard on android causing you unable to type without a hardware keyboard.
and YES opera is the BEST browser for downloading links.

Fix to IMDB app (and possibly others)

Most, if not all people who downloaded the IMDB app for the galaxy note are experiencing the same problem: It won't load! So, I emailed IMDB and got a fix! Here it is:
Check the SETTINGS for the phone, not the IMDB app. When you go to LANGUAGE AND KEYBOARD it will show ENGLISH for the language but when you click on SELECT LANGUAGE it you'll see that DEUTSCH is selected.Select ENGLISH.
It's probably best to do this regardless incase the same problem occurs with other apps

The Firefox from play store seems incompatible but you can give Aurora from Mozilla a try. Still alpha I believe but works well for me so far on my prime. Snag the apk directly from Mozilla!
Happy Browsing!

Firefox does not work at all at time of writing, which I find frankly deplorable. Aurora does, however, it isn't rendering some pages correctly in mobile or standard browser modes.
Firefox Beta asbeen updated in the Play Store with tablet support. I'm posting from it right now
The bad: It renders slower than stock or Chrome and the occasional ANR (though it seems to happen less than with the stock browser.)
The Good: Extensions like adblock and phony. Flash support and it's very very smooth now. I like to stress test on cnets site and it works pretty well there.

Olympics On the Go

Sorry if this has already been discussed, but does anyone know why i can't use the NBC Olympics app on the Prime?
What does Google tell you?

I understand that it says that the Prime is an unsupported device. But it seems like those problems shouldn't exist with a device this old and on ICS. Which is much more widely adopted now.
I downloaded it to my galaxy nexus and then sideloaded it on the prime and it works fine.

I'll save you the trouble:
Different countries win different metals mostly on sports no one cares about. Media gives attention to top 6 countries. USA walks away thinking they are the best no matter how they truly performed. The world forgets one month later. The end.

Your apk immediatly forces an update, then of course I get device incompatable. But it did work for a second. before the update screen

Apologies, this is the updated link. They were both on my dropbox.
Downloaded our apk. Installed no problems. The problem I'm having is the video and sound is in slow motion. It starts out fine then slows down. Anyone else experienceing this?
From another thread, they said to press the home button and use the app switcher button to switch back to the Live Extra app to get rid of the slow-mo bug.
It worked for me at least.
Home button trick works great!

Sync Browser Bookmarks - SOLVED

Hi there... I dont think I have seen this in the tf201 forums so here goes... It annoyed me that JB stopped synchronizing bookmarks to the default browser (Not Chrome). Found this on the tf700 forums and confirm it works for tf201. My browser is now in sync!
Big up to sbdags for the post! Quote: It's the Google chrome sync app that was included in ics. It works fine in jb and as you have found it wasn't included for some strange reason.

Cool. Is this on the tf300 forum? In the sprit of sharing, if its not, why not stick it up in there too? Might help a few tf300 users out.

Hi, thanks for sharing the link, downloaded it and installed it on my device but when I go to Google Bookmarks, the bookmarks from the device don't appear. Am I supposed to do something on the device to turn this on?
