hi all, i have a problem i try to insatll FXP134 - CM10 on my xperia neo , but all the time when flashing the rom, i've got Error Status 7 on the recovery , i think the problem is that i must install the last version of the recovery the 6.X.X.. i think.. , but my problem is that i I don't know where can i found this CWM recovery version and how to install it ,
maybe the problem is other thing?, is not about CWM? why error status 7??

First the cwm recovery will be in the boot.IMG inside the update package.
So just flash the kernel using fastboot to flash the recovery....
Secondly don't wipe the system before installing the cm10 Rom...
The Rom itself will do it for u....
Third if u have wiped the system just open the cm10.zip and erase the first 3 lines from the updater script found in the meta-inf....

paolinhos bro ROM manager is for rooted + cwm recovery installed phones
and Xperia ray not supported by rom manager ,
Tx, i have rooted my Ray following the guide on this forum, i see the rom manager don't support ray, so i ask if you know how to make it work.
I think i need to wait for an update from developer for my device.
Thanks for the reply
Yes we have to wait for official support of CWM for xperia series phones
and i think it will take a lot of time .....

[Q] Please help, Stuck installing CM9 black screen with clockwork recovery

Hi,
I have been following this guide to install CM9 on my Xperia Mini Pro sk17i (Mango) Device.
wiki.cyanogenmod.com/wiki/Sony_Ericsson_Xperia_Mini_Pro:_Full_Update_Guide
I succeded without errors up to #7 in the installation guide.
"While the device is reboot press the Volume Rockers a few times to boot into the ClockworkMod Recovery. "
I did that several times, but the screen just stays black for me.
What could I do to fix this?
Thanks
Install the boot.img from FXP126
The bug report: http://code.google.com/p/freexperia/issues/detail?id=497
Thanks for your quick answer!
Sorry for being noobish, but what ist FXP and where would i get it?

Kein Problem
You can see the FXP thread here. It is the development thread for CM9. It is the same, that is released by Cyanogenmod, but updated every week.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1445821
the file that you need is this ! you must rename the file boot-126-cm9.img to boot.img and flash in your phone with flashboot later you can flash cm9 rc 1 to recovery of the phone .
Hey thanks, that worked.
In case somebody else is having problems...
the boot.img can be found here:

For now I suggest you to install cm9 because is almost full working. I don't personally recommend you cm10 as it's in a development phase and presents issues.
To install cm9, :
1)copy the latest fxp tom on your phone
2)extract from the fxp file you downloaded the boot.img and flash it via flashtool
3) enter recovery wipe cache, dalvik cache and do a factory reset.
4) install cm9 and after that install immediately gapps. Google for gapps and make sure that you install the one for ics.
5) reboot and enjoy!
If you want to install the cm10 just do the same procedure with cm10 fxp latest files and install gapps for jb.

First of all remember that the codename for Sony Xperia Sola is Pepper. Don't install any other's devices firmware because you will have serious troubles.
So go here: http://dfiles.eu/folders/H4B5M4XR0
Download the file named FXP216-cm-9-20130419-UNOFFICIAL-pepper.zip
Transfer the file you downloaded on you phone.
From the file you downloaded extract the boot.img file and place it on your desktop.
Open flashtool. Click fastboot mode and flash the boot.img.
Once done flashing the file, turn on your device and press continuously volume down button. You will enter in cmw.
Wipe cache, do a factory reset and from advanced menu wipe dalvik cache.
After that, go to install zip from sdcard.
Find the file you previously transferred on you phone and install it.
Reboot and you are done.
For any issues let me know.

Thank you mate, I will try your suggestion because I'm new with CM custom rom.
Hello!
I've got Sola with Unofficial JB stock rom by @munjeni (his kernel too, ofcourse). And I've got couple of questions:
1. Does 4.2.2 Jelly Bean Cyanogenmod 10.1 for Xperia Sola MT27i works with Munjeni's kernel or should I flash the one inside CM build? Apparently there some bugs there , like wifi and bluetooth.
2. Can I install CM 9 on my current kernel?
3. What's the best option here , CM9 (stable) or CM10.1?
Thanks in advance for answers, I realize these are noob questions, but I'm just netering the world of flashing :/

Srry , i need help please ? srry for prevew post :( please help me

for cm9.1 gapps use this link: http://goo.im/gapps/gapps-ics-20120429-signed.zip
for cm10 gapps use this one:http://goo.im/gapps/gapps-jb-20121011-signed.zip
Both cm roms have mobile data working, maybe you get problems because you didn't install gapps, not sure though.
No reason to apologize mate, no one was born android guru (except some devs!)

cm10 and cm9.1 need unblocked bootloader to work.
If you haven't unblocked bootloader will not run. Here is the link on how to unblock: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1527159
As for which version is better, cm9.1 is stable cause cm10 is on development phase so i suggest you to wait till you pass to cm10.
go here http://unrestrict.li/FXP.version cm9, release fxp216 and file pepper. Pepper is the code name for sola.

if you install a ROM without flahear the kernel of this ROM, the more likely a mistake, by incompatibility
I recommend you flash from flashtool using fastboot mode, but here I leave another alternative if you must install the kernel since smartphone.

i guess you wanna install this rom:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2528466&page=124
kernel is inside the zip so follow this steps !
Instructions:
First time flashing CyanogenMod 11 your device, or coming from another ROM?
1 Download the zip(s).
2 Optional: adb backup
3 Boot into recovery
4 Perform a NANDroid backup of your current ROM.
5 Full wipe[data, cache, format system].
6 Flash CyanogenMod Rom Zip.
7 Optional: Install the Google Apps addon package.
8 Reboot.

Asking the wrong questions won't get you any meanigful help at best, and bad advise at worst.
Give details on what rom you are trying to install, exactly what steps you make to install it, is your bootloader unlocked etc.
