Kernel version: 2.6.35.7-i9100XWKF3-

NB: Am new on Android device.
NB: is it possible to get the original rom by unrooting my sgs 2 by doomlord unrooting toolkit ?
Learn how to use Odin
get ROM from checkfus downloader or sammobile.com
Pick lp7 ROM skip lp9.
You can flash any ROM if you got i9100, say UK lp7.
Flash using Odin.

Doesn't matter were you are...
Get a whole package and flash.
Lp7 UK ics
Dxlp9 Singapore ics
Both stock roms work fine. Personally I say go for lp7 UK.
After that learn how to use cfroot kernel to get root access.

Thanks for that.
Can you give me that link for lp7.
I salute you.

[Q] I need to root my Samsung Galaxy S2 I9100p (orange) device pls help

Hi,
I know i am a bit stupid coz im no expert in these things. I would really appreciate if someone would guide me step by step how root my phone and install CM9 ICS on my phone
I tried searching but i just cannot find a phone with the exact specs and software like mine and i am worried if i might brick my phone.
Do i need an SD card to so this?
This is my phone info:
Model Number: GT-I9100P
Android Version: 2.3.6
Baseband version: I9100PBVKL2
Kernel Version: [email protected] #2
Build Number: GINGERBREAD.BVKL2
and bdw, my phone is an unlocked phone from Orange
All the information you need is here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1419102
If you can't manage with that, don't flash CM9 on your device. Also, flashing CM9 is likely to remove your phone's NFC functionality.
Thanks alot for the info
What is NFC? And what will happen if my phone fails to install cm9?
Sent from my GT-I9100P using xda app-developers app
Near Field Communication - data exchange technology, with maximum speed 848 Kb/s; 20 cm range + 2 MHz band. More here.
If install fail, you'll have crashed ROM (but recovery & download still work in best, in worst you'll need Odin for flashing stock).
Hi i need help rooting my phone. Can you please help me?

International model root?

Apologies for the probably noobie question.
I got an s3 that other day and installed the official jelly bean update first thing when i powered it up.
I am wondering how to root now after the update?
Obviously i googled it but I can't find any information on my baseband version. I have baseband XXDLID.
I've rooted and ran several roms on my xperia x8 before so I'm familiar with these things on the x8 but not the s3 so I just need a hand.
Thanks for any help.
check the stickies. there's a wiki link there.
EDIT: don't post the same exact thread in different forums... That's breaking the rules

Ive no time to search properly but youd be better updating to 4.0.3 for your region etc then root from there.
