Galaxy S2 stopped working somehow... Even JIG can't help. Where can I find new motherboard? Find "something" at ebay. I hope this is it?
Please do not recommend me to go to service center, because I was there. They want 350$ for repairing! Damn robbers. And I don't care about IMEI problems.

Hello, everyone, i hard bricked my s2 and i really wanna know if you guys know any store or whatever that can do a jtag restore via riff box on my galaxy s2, i live in croatia so it would be nice if it's near me
btw. i can't enter download mode nor recovery, i bought usb jig on ebay and waiting for it but i really don't think it's gonna work
These guys are reputable, also search here, Google search & ask local mobile repair shops in your area.
Thank you a lot!
You're welcome. Good luck
I am from India & I have a Samsung Galaxy S2( model number SHW-M250K). Its Korean version. With the help of xda forum I converted SHW-M250K to GT-i9100 Successfully and I was very happy.
I started learning more and more about flashing ROMs(STOCK ROM & CUSTOM ROM) and I started flashing different ROMS for my Samsung galaxy S2.:good:
The problem came to my notice when I select network manually it says ‘’ unable to connect, try again later’’ and I noticed that my IMEI number also changed to 004************00/01 & I was like WTF .
I searched google & other forums including xda about the problem and I tried everything with was possible(flashing different ROMs/ EFS BACKUP,nv_data…..so on ) but the IMEI was not changing to the original.
From some forum I came to know that flashing EZFroyo may solve the problem, so I downloaded
(PIT-EZbase.pit,CSC- EZbase-CSC-XXJV1.tar.md5, PDA- ezbase-pda-xwjs3.tar.md5,MODEM- ezbase-phone-xxjve.tar.md5 & EZOdin ). I used Siyah Kernel (-v6.0b4) for rooting.
While flashing this EZBASE froyo using ODIN, I PULLED THE USB DATA CABLE by mistake. At that time the EZBASE.pit file was flashing and the moment USB DATA CABLE unplugged, I knew that I am in a big trouble now.
After this the phone is almost dead but while charging it gets heated near the camera, that means its not dead.
I am unable to go to DOWNLOAD MODE nor RECOVERY MODE.
I went to SAMSUNG REPAIR SERVICE and I told them the whole story. They checked it and told me that since the phone is Korean made, they don’t have the original Korean software here and the Indian version won’t work on this (Not working). Hence they returned the phone back to me.
Now the only option left to me is to go to Korea……?? Lol
Now I am confused about USB JIG and JTAG. Someone please tell which one I should use for my galaxy s2.
I have read somewhere here that usb jig is the only option which will boot the phone into DOWNLOAD MODE. I KNOW MY CHANCES ARE LESS BUT I STILL WANT TO TRY. I am going for usb jig.
PLEASE HELP. I just want to know if I am missing any trick to de-brick my SGS2.
If anyone have Samsung Galaxy S2 MOTHERBOARD and want to sell it then please let me know.
Jig more than likely won't work, but search on eBay for 'Samsung Galaxy S2 jig', they only cost a couple of bucks, you might as well try one in case you're the 1 in 10,000 where a jig works in these situations.
If you can't find a JTAG repairer near you, there are others in different parts of the world you can post the phone to & they may be able to repair it (assuming it is able to be JTAG'd). If it isn't JTAG'able, replace motherboard (source a 2nd hand one from a 'donor' phone/with a broken screen/etc).
If I had to take an educated guess tho, you need a motherboard replacement.

1)) Thanks for ur quick response. I really appreciate that. Before sending it to someone over courier or donating, I would love to spend some bucks on usb jig.
2)) The Samsung repair service told me that Motherboard replacement is not possible because of the DIFFERENCE BETWEEN KOREAN & INDIAN VERSION INTERIOR CIRCUIT.
3)) If I send my phone for JTAG' to someone who is outside India, then what is the guarantee that he will send me my phone back. Please don't mind.

Hi Guys,
Can anyone help me as I was just told that my Samsung Note II can not be repaired at all. Here is the whole story, it randomly concked off and showed nothing beyond the first screen " SAMSUNG Note II GT N7100". I was asked to do a hard reset and reboot, after using Odin and Kies nothing really worked. Post which I gave it for repairing to an experienced person, he tried everything possible concerning the software but later came back saying the mother board needs to be changed with bomb of an expense. I had not option but went ahead with his suggestion but later he got back to me saying " my IMEI Number can not be registered since its another country phone" i.e. UAE & I am in INDIA, so he suggested to try a known Note II pals IMEI number, after doing that it worked but the network did not accept and could not be used as a phone and therefore he gave up.
1) Is the 35K INR spent on it is gone in drain?
2) Can SAMSUNG help me with fix this?
3) What if i try with a friend who travels to UAE frequently to get it repaired from there with the new motherboard and imei registration?
I would really appreciate your honest, rational and a solution way forward to my above concern. Thanks friends!

My galaxy s2 i9100 motherboard got complaint and i need to replace it.I went already went to service centre and they told it will cost around Rs.6000(95$).But when i searched for motherboard on ebay and it cost around only 27$.I want to know is it original or not???Or will i face any problems if i uses that motherboard? If not can anybody please tell me frome where i can buy a good motherboard for my s2?
Almost all motherboards online will be 2nd hand, Samsung is not in the business of selling new ones without having their authorised service centres doing the labour to replace. As with anything on eBay, you're only going to know if it's legit/works the way it should if you actually buy it/maybe based on the seller's reputation.
I mean, how is anyone here supposed to know whether some guy on eBay is selling you something legit ?
I've seen some boards on eBay that are JUST the boards.....you have to solder EVERY single component to it yourself......examine the listing before you buy......

My Samsung Galaxy S2 is hard bricked after I cancelled Odin firmware installed, it won't turn on or charge so now I'm looking for someone who can jtag it to bring it back to life. I have been to several mobile repair shops near me and none of them can do it. What shall I do?
