Drifta app for Evo 3d?? Please someone unlock this app! - HTC EVO 3D

Hi Guys,
Here in South Africa we have DSTV, our Digital Satellite TV. They have a Mobile App for Android on Google Play:
https://play.google.com/store/search?q=dstv+mobile+decoder&so=1&c=apps
This application works on the following devices, running Android 2.2, 2.3, 3.x and 4.
Play store says this app will work on my phone, and it states its for 2.3. I have the HTC Evo 3D, which i imported. These DSTV developers (so they called) make this app specific to different HTC's, they have a supported phones list and my evo 3D is not on this list. I ave NO idea why they do this as it is Android 2.3??
I REALLY Need someone to unlock this app for the Evo 3D, when i install the app and RUN it, the reads this:
"Your Android Device is not supported by this application" It seems to do a server check before this message check.
Please let me know your thoughts? I know someone here did the previous app when it was still called Decoder.
I have a no rooted device so i cannot edit or download the apk file.
Thanks guys!

Anyone tried "you wave" android pc emulator??

Hey,
Just wondering if anyone else has tried it? I downloaded installed it today & it looks really impressive with lots of future potential it lets you load & run apk files and simulates the android UI on your desktop! It compared itself to the developers SDK tool but faster and user friendly. I can't post links but I'd be thankful if anyone else that finds it interesting to post a link
I can't see it mentioned in any threads yet? If this is the wrong place to post... please feel free to move it

I saw a blog on a German site mentioning this emulator. Below is the text translated using Google Translate.
Android Apps emulator for the PC (without SDK)

Meanwhile, there are a lot of apps for mobile devices, whether for iPhone or Android. In the case of Android devices and apps, there is the lovely advantage of it as apk simply sent anywhere, can be loaded and saved - and everyone could then install on their device.
But what if you have no products. These types, but would like to demonstrate Apps on a machine, and without the SDK? introduces you, you have built a cool app want to show that, but your Android can not connect to the projector, or you send out sales people who want to show the app, but no SDK on your machine?
Well, there is a great tool called YouWave. Easy to install on their computers and go apk Embed
It does come accross quite intriguingly... It would be interesting to know if anyone has tried it properly and what they make of it, I'm more interested in mods to my phone so development tools don't spark much excitement for me.... the potential here looks inspiring though
Thanks tina333 for your interest in YouWave. We are a startup, with a mission to serve Android community. In addition to what you have described, our latest software release supports state saving, wirelessly installing applications to rooted phone, etc. Many users, including app users, gamers and developers, are already using our product daily. Hopefully you have tried these features.
We are located in Silicon Valley, California. If you have other questions, drop us a line or post questions here or on our forum. We would be glad to answer them.

Is it possible to load our data files from our phone to continue with saved progress in games, etc.?
Currently, it is not possible to sync data file from your phone to the apps running on YouWave. Such features are definitely under our consideration.
BTW, AndroidCentral today runs an article about us.

[Q] App blocking bluestacks

So recently the app Marvel: War of Heroes blocked the use of "emulators." When you log in using bluestacks, it says please use an IOS device or Android device.
I have my Bluestacks fully rooted, with write capabilities, and have change everything in build.prop but that is still not working.
Would anyone have any idea what they are finding to identify that someone is using Bluestacks?
Oh, and attached is the screen that appears.

Android 4.1.1 jelly Bean car stereo

I'm not familiar with Android so just needed to know if there is an .apk app that would allow me to root my Android car stereo so I could then install and run an app called 'Market Helper 2.0' to allow me to change the device name to bypass restrictions on Google Play so I can install apps it currently says are incompatible.
I've installed Market Helper but for it to work my device needs to be rooted what I now know is the same as the jailbreak I have on my iPhone.
Thanks for any support or suggestion if there's an easier way to allow me to install unrestricted apps from Google Play. I know I can get apps from other sources but I want to install a particular sat nav (TomTom) and need the in app purchases like real time traffic updates and speed cameras. I do have TomTom on my device but it's missing the traffic updates for me and as well on occasions the car symbol appears to be flying over buildings so I'm sure thats not meant to happen:laugh::laugh::laugh:
PS: Why don't they just call it a jailbreak for Android instead of Rooted, damnnnn...lol
I just tried an app called Frameroot to root my device but I received the message 'Your device seems not vulnerable to exploit included in framework'.
I've tried another 2 Root Apk app and no joy. Are there some Android devices that cannot be rooted just out of interest?
Is there a way to bypass Google Play compatibility on an android device without it being rooted ?

I need help in obtaining a country restricted app (VPN is not working)

Hi Guys,
how can i install an app that is only available for some countries (i have tried the with VPN and it doesn't work). It is a medical app and i need it for my insulin sensor level reader.
it can be found on UK and France app store. On my store it cant even be seen. It is called "FreeStyle LibreLink". If someone can provide me the apk it would be great.
I have tried to search the forum but i failed in finding something similar.
Thank you for your help

thank you, i have installed it but it is still not working
Hello,
thank you for your help. I have manged to install the app but when i am trying to open it i am being redirected to Play Store and it is blocking the application somehow.. any idea how to pass this? I have installed a VPN but i am getting the same issue.
Thanks
Mihnea
No idea, sorry. I would try to contact the developer.
You need to find the app for your specific country. I have the swedish one.
However the app is not compatible with the Pixel 4s new NFC chip. I managed to sideload the swedish app and am not getting the error message. I still can't read the sensor 9 times out of 10 tho. So I am hoping for an update, either from abott or google.
Came to XDA to see if they might have a patch or mod etc.
Not certain relevant but I assume you are not granting "location" access on your phone to that app (or google for that matter)? 2nd - Assuming that you are connected via vpn to whatever Country the app communicates with (assuming it needs to even talk to a remote computer/service to work), if you are being directed to the play store is the app out of date perhaps and creator is requiring an update?

A Challenge! Old App Emulation

Hello All,
I am new to the forums and android emulation in general. [Sorry about not being able to post links]
I have been trying to find a way to play the following game for what seems like ages now:
I am Unable to Post Links, But it is in the google play store as (Trap Hunter -Lost Gear- Lite)
Thing is, it's no longer supported supported by modern updates, and I have spoken with the developer and he no longer plans to update it.
I have tried to emulate it using MEmu, Genymotion and Android Studio using Versions as low as Kitkat (4.0) , with the same result of it crashing on startup.
According to the games website: Google Search: "Trap Hunter Lost Gear" It is Spec'd to run on Android OS 2.0.1 'Eclair'.
I have been unable to get an emulator to run this version unfortunately, and was wondering if someone here might be able to see if it works?
Thanks.
