This is my first post here so sorry if its in the wrong place.
I installed the Jelly Bean ROM that I found on here a while back. Now I'm looking into OCing the CPU to 1.5 GHz or above but I dont think the ROM allows me to. I downloaded SetCPU from the market and it wouldn't allow me to set the CPU over 1.2 which is the stock speed. Is there a kernel for Jelly Bean that I can use to get this to work?
Current kernel version:
Android 4.1.1
2.6.35.7
Thanks for any help.

Yup there are a couple of kernels you could use:
JellyBean PA OC KERNEL FLASHABLE ZIP
CM10 OC Kernel - Download Here - Flashable Zip
Some of these like the CM10 OC Kernel may only work with CM 10 based Jelly Bean ROMs
Hope this helps you out
Edit:
I know this is your first time posting here (Welcome by the way :good but next time you might want to post this in the Infuse 4G Q&A section

You don't need this kernel for flashing Gapps. This kernel is only to make CPU clock faster.

ICS kernel sources have still not been released. So I guess you might have to wait till sources are released so that dev can start work on custom kernels.
Hope this answers ur question

this instruction is for old 2.6 kernel.. ICS use 3.X kernel how to overclock this ics
i think that there are a few ics kernels which are supporting overclock, for example there was an 1,5 ghz overclock kernel for the old virtous s4v rom, but it doesn't work with the new versions.
ICS kernel source JUST came out. Give it 2 weeks and I'm sure you'll have a couple 3.0 o/c kernels to choose.
Anryl is testing his 3.0 kernel o/c at 1.5 as we speak.
edit. its out!

no changes after kernel install

You must be s off to flash custom kernels.
Google WiFi error EVO 3d gsm and you should find a post about changing out bc4329.ko modules from download to overwrite your own. The zip in the thread would not flash properly, had to manually move to phone system.
If you want your old kernel back, WiFi fixed just flash the same Rom over your install without wiping, and you won't lose any data.
infectedrom.com has a fully working ics kernel that does 1.7ghz
3d and wimax even work on sense 3.6
I'm running 1.5ghz with anryl's kernel (GSM)
Best you will get for now!
cant go s-off

Unfortunately no possible way to downgrade from official ICS hboot as of yet...
Title said it. I want to try out the new CM10 builds for the S2, but I still want to keep my stable CM9+Siyah build running in case the new ROM has some problems. Went to the Siyah kernel dual boot guide thread, and it's stated there that one can only dual boot 2 ICS ROMs. That means no ICS+GB... but is ICS+JB possible?
By the way, yes I did do a search before asking and found this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1800866 where a method is proposed, but it requires switching to another kernel and I'd like to stick to Siyah.
Current configuration: CM9 RC2, Siyah v3.4.

You need custom kernel. But dont have any custom kernel to work with JB what you can overclock.
Enviado do meu GT-I9300
use an o/c kernel.....no I won't suggest one
Go to development and read
As far as im aware omega 23 is custom stock rom. JB ect.
to unlock overclocking you would need a a new boot.img withunlocked overclocking
that wont be out for JB roms until the source is released.
You would have to install a earlier rom if you want to use a costom boot.img with unlock overclock.

What Kernel does that ROM come with? Is it the STOCK kernel? If so, you CANNOT overclock the STOCK kernel at all and can only overclock CUSTOM Kernels that have that ability built into them.
More info from you is needed...
It seems the JB Rom from Omega doesnt have this overclocking unlocked

for jellybean, there isn't any other kernel. there's stock cm10.1 and devil kernel. also, I wouldn't worry about antutu bench marks, they don't mean anything
On 4.1.2 hellybean I flashed devil 1.8.1 and it was working very well, super fast in games, but when I try to flash newest 1.9.5 devil kernel on 4.2.1 rom I get a lot of errors on android start - like process com.android.phone has stopped working. So, is there any version of devil kernel that works in new 4.2.1 rom?

at the moment DT is building the devil kernel inline with hellybean, so no not at the moment, give him some time and he should release a kernel separately
