Mobilicity Amaze Messaging PROBLEM - HTC Amaze 4G

Hello, all. I have an HTC Amaze that I bought from mobilicity. It is S-OFF and super-cid. It is running the latest version of the stock energy rom. I've noticed lately that I haven't been able to send or receive picture messages. Picture messaging worked on my phone when I first bought it (running stock ruu from mobilicity). Could it be the radio? Is it possible to extract the radio from the stock rom and flash into my current NRG rom? Any help on this topic would be appreciated. Is it possible to have stock radio with custom t-mobile rom? THANKS IN ADVANCE GAIZ! :cyclops:

Not running that ROM anymore, but when I did I don't recall having any issues with MMS messages. I'm on 4thBar Nexus now and it works too, (on Mobilicity).

Check and fix your apn settings.

Terrible Service & Texts not Sending After Root

Hey everyone.
So I downgraded by HBOOT and flashed CM7. But now I can't send any text messages longer than 160 characters and my service is absolutely terrible.
Any ideas on what I can do? Help would be greatly appreciated.
Go into messager settings and see if you have message splitting enabled.

Flash back to a Sense rom, flash the latest radios, then update Profile and PRL. Then flash back to whatever rom you want.
Thanks. I've tried finding the latest radios but all the links seem to be broken? Can someone link/send me a pm to a working radio please?

Do this, and also do a hands free activation as well. It will update/re-register you with Sprint.
Search for 2.17.651.5 firmware, freeza has a post that has the "all in one" firmware that won't mess with hboot or S-OFF.

[Q] No MMS

After flashing Meanrom and a few other ICS roms I've noticed that mms has not worked on either of them.
mms worked back when I was stock but doesnt work with any ICS custom rom I flash.
Does anyone know why or have any info on this?

Virgin Mobile
Hboot 1.57
S-OFF
TWRP recovery
I keep bouncing around trying to find a fully functional stable rom but no luck
as far as i can tell these ICS roms are set up to run MMS on sprint. I used MeanRom ICS and it ran everything without a problem (im on Sprint). there are a few guides in the JB threads on changing the MMS setting for different providers. I'd go look but i'm sitting in class trying to listen......im not succeeding apparently.

You need to get into the epst programming menu and change the settings for MMS to the virgin MMS settings.

[Q] Custom Rom from o2 UK Stock since hboot update released....? ?

Hi All,
Apologies if the has been asked already but I was unable to find an answer to my question.
I have an O2 HTC One X Plus (CID 02__001) which WAS on Hboot 1.30 but is now on hboot 1.35 since the OTA update 1.17.206.1 came out in the UK not very long ago
I know there was an issue being able to use a custom ROM with the older hboot. Will I now be able to flash a custom ROM to my phone (I am eyeing up Android Revolution HD 6.2)??
Or is it too soon ?
You now have the latest hboot. So you can flash any international custom rom you want

Fantastic. l assume I don't need to do the firmware thing the instructions mention just the boot image and Rom itself?

I've been out of the loop for a while, what should I do?

Howdy, so I am already S-off'd and rooted running an ICS rom on my VM Evo V 4g. As of now MMS is iffy and 4G does not work to my knowledge. I've been out of the loop for a few months and was wondering what I need to do to catch up on the custom advancements.
I think I need to:
Flash a new radio firmware?
Fix MMS?
Fix 4G?
Can anyone give me a lowdown on what I should get caught up with in regards to those 3 topics? What do I need to do to have absolutely everything working correctly on a custom rom?

HTC Amaze 4G - Recommended ROM?

Hey, can anyone recommend a good ROM for this device from experience? I have the Telus version of the HTC Amaze 4G if that matters.
I have it unlocked, I'm pretty sure I need to have S-OFF too, but haven't done that yet. Yes/no?
I'm using the recommended CWM recovery for the phone (5.0.2.6) updated by "ROM Manager" app.
Just looking for advice on a ROM that I can get the most out of the phone with a more updated OS (currently Telus Stock 4.0.3)
Any help is appreciated! Thanks in advance!

I'm on Android Revolution HD 5.0
It's very close to stock but much better. The ROMs that are higher than ICS 4.03 are newer but they normally have some bugs. I've been on this for almost 2 years no problems.
And S-Off is not necessary. But I think you might need to change to 4ext recovery if not S-Off.
